When Chaos Leads
Blatant held a shaky hand
It couldn’t make a proper stand
It threw about the weedy yard
And when it slowed it landed hard
Aggression grew when chaos led
Both tripped and landed on their head...

After clearing the weedy green
And rested in my seat,
A bright shade of red caught my eye.
It was a charming bird.
It zipped away
And back to view
Then again vanished
From my sight
As quickly as its approach....

So Lazy
We take the lazy option
when given a choice
walk upstairs or ride the escalator
it’s our health that says see you later

We take the crazy option
when given a choice
park legally or be a handicap
everyone is thinking, you weedy sap...

Molly Mitchell
Molly Mitchell made many manuscripts
and all were mighty,so full, and meaty!
Combined, they covered all the ground
and their reasoning was very sound.
Trimmed with an artisan's unique design,
they were oft delivered to the needy.
All were orderly and divine indeed,
and were never-ever weedy!
    Thank you, sweetie!

Garden Fate
It was ripped to shreds
turned over, and dumped
atop a chipped hole in the earth

The garden had been pretty
weedy, but pretty nevertheless

Like anything it took time to grow
a bleeding heart a couple bushes
the occasional tulip planting
a horrifying dog toy and bones

but in the end all of it
was upchucked and abandoned
on a pile of rocks and debris
waiting for their gardener
to rescue them...

Heeding the cries of the poor and needy,
Feeding all when I have nothing plenty;
Kneading evil-doers who are weedy,
Pleading to the Almighty for bounty.

Greed, the great vice, be purged out of myself,
Freed from this life of bondage so tiresome;
Reed-like may Spirit flow on giving joys.
Creed should not my existence overcome…

Premium Member Once a Nursery
Lavender shows blue flowers
Shaded by a spreading Oleander
The weedy garden, once a nursery
Still has many vibrant blooms

Dandelion, Snapdragons, heads held high
Visited by a darting Hummingbird
No second glance, to the odd deadhead
Ladybug sits lonely, on discarded beanpole

The high mesh fence casts its netted shadows
Broken red pots with busy ants below
Are there really weeds, or,
Just plants in the wrong place...

Trust should flow like the river –
Wide and deep, not turbulent, dangerous, murky, or dirty-
no not like the deep weedy sea-
Trust should be like a summer breeze- an unasked-for sneeze- a bird in flight-
a pleasant night- a love of things- a heart that sings-
Trust should be like an innocent child- an unplanned smile-Trust should be free.

Lord Gaga
He wears a frame upon his eyes,
None knows where the glasses are;
His earrings are oysters’ shells,
Singing as cymbals after him.

On his head are weedy locks,
Each strand knitted with rainbow beads
And with a cut from bicycle tube,
He binds them upon his neck.

His suit will win a queen,
With a thrilling inner shirt;
But trust our man with his feet,
Left is leather, right is rubber.

Arresting my spy he presses:
Knowing you not Lady Gaga ?...

It came,
piercing the bright air
above the garden
with a sudden presence,
the first dragonfly
of the season. It darted
and hovered over me,
glistening in a spellbinding
grid of movement.

What was weighted
down and stuck
in the sludge
of a long winter reached
after its fleeting shadow.
Shackled forms hiding
in the weedy depths looked
upwards towards
a transformation.
Somewhere near,
fragile wings began to unfold
in the shape of a prayer....

Trekking the Lane
Upward,high,I move.
Treading the weedy and filthy path.
Jittery,fear,have I at stake.
Stumps,rocky stones grace the way.
Sore feet,but I trek on.
Scorpions and serpents hate,
As their territory, I invade.
Tendrils, wild hemps lay as traps.
Fear not,say I to self.
Cracking toes weep for the heated earthen mud.
Fried, made crispy by the scorching sun.
Close by,is a cold stream,
there to calm my nerves.
Bejeweled with life's great tidings.
Now,dominate,enjoy,say I to self....
