6
We’ll last forever, or at least till December.
Love is for always, or till it grows cold.
Youth is undying, spring is eternal,
Or till hair turns white and leaves turn gold.
Truth is beauty and is unending,
At least till someone finds a much better line.
Joy is a fountain, that never stops flowing,
Or at least until the effects wear off from the wine....

Interwoven Thoughts
Under the rainy sky
I walk with watery eye
I wet my self in tears
The only one I cry
My heart is something
Different now
Urging me to fly
Manipulating my
Brains
For the feelings that I write
Into the rain I smile now
The rain, to me, the wind brought
As I walk the lonely, rain filled road
As I’m trying to wear off and write a word
About the inter woven thoughts...

Wearing Off
As they kissed, she pulled back,
reminding him that staying together
as a couple had turned her to something
that could easily wear off.
Their house's blissful aura was fading;
time had ceased in their wall clock;
they didn't share socks in winter nights,
anymore.....
He had no words to express,
as words disintegrated bitterly into
his vocal cords.

The Golden Years
Old men in the home got Viagra
An experiment is what was said
They stated it was about safety
To keep them from rolling out of bed!

Since it takes a while to wear off
Breakfast can get a little loud
Turning around and knocking off plates
But at least they all look really proud!

It also cheers up the old ladies
They smile when they look up and down
Wanting to try an start a spark
Is easier with wood all around!...

A Whore Writes Home
would it be awkward to tell you
how the whole world
smells like petroleum jelly
or that the latex on my fingers
seems never to wear off
to explain
that after a while
they're all the same
one more mark
in a sea of the willing
if you offer the right look,
seeming supplications,
the most brittle of vows
all for a small recompense
that's never enough
it's more than an hour
you lose
in the company of hands
that offer no shelter...

Home
Home is where the heart is,
Or that's what they say,
My home left me for his,
No pleading to make you stay.
Now I have no home,
My heart is mine,
Dreamless nights I roam,
Love became benign.
You lit the match, and watched it burn,
The home, that was us, our love,
Karma comes for us all in turn,
Make amends with God above.
I'll find a new home for me,
Built with love and honesty,
Hope your actions make you happy,
Hope it doesn't wear off, the novelty....

Cheers To My End
Cheers to my end

Spare me my fears
They lay too many
Spare me my lust
I care to ease them

Tear down my woes
They lay me down painlessly
Tear off my doubt
They pierce me painlessly

Gear me up for my fate
I seek less the rate
They make me in the air, my mate
Boundless without gate

The Bare me you see;
 The dear me she loves
No fear to hide
What the world crave to see

I shall wear courage
To wear off my fears
My life is not for rent
Now my cloak of shame I rent

THE INVINCIBLE PEN...
