We’ll last forever, or at least till December.
Love is for always, or till it grows cold.
Youth is undying, spring is eternal,
Or till hair turns white and leaves turn gold.
Truth is beauty and is unending,
At least till someone finds a much better line.
Joy is a fountain, that never stops flowing,
Or at least until the effects wear off from the wine....

I walk with watery eye
I wet my self in tears
The only one I cry
My heart is something

Urging me to fly

For the feelings that I write
Into the rain I smile now
The rain, to me, the wind brought
As I walk the lonely, rain filled road
As I’m trying to wear off and write a word

reminding him that staying together
as a couple had turned her to something
that could easily wear off.
Their house's blissful aura was fading;
time had ceased in their wall clock;
they didn't share socks in winter nights,
anymore.....
He had no words to express,

An experiment is what was said
They stated it was about safety
To keep them from rolling out of bed!

Since it takes a while to wear off
Breakfast can get a little loud
Turning around and knocking off plates
But at least they all look really proud!

It also cheers up the old ladies
They smile when they look up and down
Wanting to try an start a spark
Is easier with wood all around!...

how the whole world
smells like petroleum jelly
or that the latex on my fingers
seems never to wear off
to explain
that after a while
they're all the same
one more mark
in a sea of the willing
if you offer the right look,
seeming supplications,
the most brittle of vows
all for a small recompense

it's more than an hour
you lose
