Blessed Are the Prepositions

For they shall inherit the word ;

Water down the rover.
Light under the clouds.
Rain through the evening.
Sleet across the moor.

Warm Water Flows

her body nude and wet
glistening water down her back
a smile follows a hint
her flesh a beautiful brown tint
a scream
a moan
in the shower she stands alone

Cloudy Were All the Skies

Cloudy Were All the Skies

While we stood under thick, cloudy skies,
Had started raining hard we would realize;
Water down street;
Drain will meet,
And then we noticed that the river did rise.

Answered Prayer

I prayed for rain to visit us and to refresh our souls....
The heavens heard, and opened up, pouring water down the rice fields,
Washing off the seedlings that we had planted for a week.

Food, Sex, and Money

Come back to reality
the fuel line, source, and parking head
you cannot embellish
what has energized for millennium
Don't water down what must be devoured
Zeal in its proper input/ output
True depth of cave man passion

Premium Member Love Never Truly Dies

Time moves on
distances separate
memories water down
we barely notice
as people come and go.

But then we often find

Sparks of familiarity
igniting life's essence
embers branding ownership
on the edge of awareness
love never truly dies.

Of Rain and Thanksgiving

Pearly drops of rain
Glistening on Autumn’s leaf
The gurgling of water down the storm drain
Not far away is Christmas Eve.

Just before Christmas, there is Thanksgiving
A time to praise and thank the Lord
That we are still among the living
Let us share of what we have stored

Rockets

rockets
man
rockets
all in my head
a million galaxies
cut to see if I bled
far away places
thoughts
I shouldn't think
destiny is waiting
close to the brink
step by step
like I wasn't,was
insane
clutter of confusion
water down the drain
and
these rockets
man
just whoosh
in my brain.

Poetry

The words all flow together
Like water down a fall
And the ideas come easily
All I have to do is call

My muse then answers quickly
A swift word in my ear
Then just in case I get stuck again
He stays so very near

I consider myself lucky
That my muse is always there
Because poetry is my best release
And a thing that I can share

Whale Tale

Let me tell you a tale
Of a wild ride on the tail
Of a whale

So through the water he splashes
Hither and fro he dashes
Batten down the hatches

I never thought Id ride a whale anywhere
Its fun up in the air
But terrible under the water down there

So up and down I go
For how long I don't know
I just hope he doesn't blow

Love Yourself First

It’s never a bad decision
to choose yourself
Love yourself
Never water down
your magic
Your Blackness be regal
So keep on shining bright
don’t let anyone block the
light within you
Then you’ll begin to see the
God in your reflection
No more second guessing
Keep rising like the sun
know your worth and
feel no guilt for
loving yourself first

Inside My Head

Inside my head are facts I’ve learned,
Some useful, others not
And mem’ries to which I’ve returned
That I’ve enjoyed a lot.

Inside my head my brain is filled
With no more room to spare,
So just like milk that someone spilled,
New input’s just not there.

No matter what I read or hear
That I wish to retain,
It seems to quickly disappear,
Like water down a drain.

Premium Member Blood And Tears

Authentic words crafted with purity,
this is what writers should revel in;
Emotions are the ace card of poetry;

To those just beginning to write poetry
do not ever water down your purity;
Write what you truly believe in;

With trends you risk getting stuck in
are not the key to successful poetry;
They lack any semblance of purity;

Blood and tears are purity in poetry.

The Garden of Our Love

Surrounded by gifts in running water down tempted streams, and tall trees
mountain tops as high as we could see flowers, vines, and animals running free,
I see not as the rest of the world gos by forever in your eyes is all I see,
like Adam and Eve two people together letting the rest just be,
no sins no troubles just you and me,
in your eyes in your arms in your heart and a kiss endlessly.

The Gods Are Not Blind

You dig a tunnel and blind it with velvelt
You throw a rose on the velvelt and welcome me to the throne
What do you call my crime?

You water down my wine and whittle down the sparkle
You savour my stew and make holes in the cooking pot
What do you say I did?

You sling stones and go under the mortar
The gods are not blind oh you smart snake
Sooner than you think the pestle will find the mortar.

Funny Bone

Peter cotton tail
Passed Pam down the the sliding rail
Possing prively passed position failed
Who said Peter could created jelly bells
Oh well
People often smell
Like sewage water water down a rivers trail
Soap used to clean dumped waste polluted air
Peter scales thrifty built buildings ginger bread Hansel and Gretel gripped sail
Through the forest and under trees
Peter has legs to run but fell to his knees

Love of Water

The water when i kiss you
the water in your blood
the water in my veins
i seek to find your insides
not far from me now
the water down below
i you rise with the sea
i rise with the night to meet you
its cold you say
but i can feel your heart
this moment it never goes away
this moment move or do you stay

does the moon govern you
how long will it be full
full enough for me to reach you
this moment of love and play
