Of Rain and Thanksgiving

Pearly drops of rain
Glistening on Autumn’s leaf
The gurgling of water down the storm drain
Not far away is Christmas Eve.

Just before Christmas, there is Thanksgiving
A time to praise and thank the Lord
That we are still among the living
Let us share of what we have stored

Darn, I stored nothing ... some guy in the White House gave all my thanksgiving away ... to Wall Street, I hear.

What a lovely holiday rhyme, Joy! Such a pleasure to know our faith is shared by others, especially on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Best wishes, Carolyn
