Love Yourself First

It’s never a bad decision
to choose yourself
Love yourself
Never water down 
your magic
Your Blackness be regal
So keep on shining bright
don’t let anyone block the 
light within you
Then you’ll begin to see the 
God in your reflection
No more second guessing
Keep rising like the sun
know your worth and 
feel no guilt for
loving yourself  first

I once heard a song with the lyrics "people love people who love themselves"...my daughter debated the singer about his lyrics saying those types of people are usually selfish...his reply was "those who love themselves exude happiness, health and contentment, which draws those who wish to be the same way"...:)
