Love Never Truly Dies

Time moves on
distances separate
memories water down
we barely notice
as people come and go.

But then we often find

Sparks of familiarity
igniting life's essence
embers branding ownership
on the edge of awareness
love never truly dies.

You are quite right memories are there for ever, but what connects us to memories, love and that is something embedded on our brain with indelible ink! Blessings my friend, Jennifer. May I please use your Running wolves in my next super heroes poem which follows on from a- And so it began . Blessings, Jennifer.

Love never truly dies in only changes form again and again like the receding ocean it always finds new waters. This is a beautiful poem of love and grace. Thank you R.W. May you always pant at the waters of life, and never grow thirsty. xo

I'm glad you're here. Read the ones who have their avatars on the front page, and anyone who comments on theirs... that means they are active here and will probably read your poems if you read theirs. It's a good way to get to know people here.
