A Question of Courage

If someone allows others see their tears
Are they brave enough to show their vulnerability
Or too weak to face the tears alone?

The Sick Feeling

Shards of glass
Peirce the depths of
My stomach.
Exposing the reality
Humanity,
Vulnerability,
Of
Life.

The Cautious Clown

The cautious clown
hides his
crestfallen frown
behind his
Intricate crown
of color.
Never letting
his true self
fully seep through
the cracks of
vulnerability.

Vulnerability

vulnerability-
whenever disaster strikes
we need each other

Wintry Smile

Ivory snow covers
The desolate castle
She inhabits
Where the stillness
Screams & screams
And she feels the fright
Of silence
And she loathes herself
For her vulnerability

Listen to poem:
looking for wisdom
where it could be found
a vulnerability all too endearing
subtle yet barely beneath the surface
the abandoned child
all grown up

The Dragons Keeper

trembling and ravenous a dragon nesting watches
not his prey but his rider
his vulnerability
his master, his pet
as unnoticed pretty ladies danced about the fire
caused by his labored breath

Premium Member Fear of Vulnerability

malady of man
           he'd prefer walking through fire
                     than to lift his veil

Vulnerability Wise

Allow yourself to trial and error
So you can embrace better
And better result in the end
In love, grow to the sun
Having the ability to love and chase
Is the best gift life can give you.

Premium Member Thought of the day

we are afraid of vulnerability of innocence
so we set up an impregnable fortress
an opaque mind and clenched fist
but if we wish to see God face to face
we need to vaporise becoming a bliss mist

One in a million

One in a million
Carried the weight of responsibility
One in a million
Devoted his life of morals
One in a million
Embraced her soul of sorrow
One in a million
Finished the game of vulnerability

Dinner

dine with my insides
finish your last sip of my vulnerability
eat the last crumb of my dignity
load up your plate with all things necessary
for I’m an open meal, for clearly anyone.
trash me in the end

To Feel

To feel is to hurt
A vulnerability, nothing more.
Unnecessary for life,
And yet my definition.
An emotional person.
A passionate woman.
Where will it lead?
To feel is to hurt,
A vulnerability, nothing more

Vulnerability

Shallow on the surface,
Deep towards the core.
Locked away,
In a vault of pain.
I feel like I'm drowning, from the inside out.
The dam cant hold the pain any longer
The wall breaks, and
it all falls apart...

Pic Motifs Visual 1

Glassy lamp flickers
to expose her quiet vulnerability,
while fingers thumb pages
of his delayed letters---

Hiding in tenebrous light
she quavers relentlessly,
knowing it’s time for goodbye
come morning.

No Regard

The depths of insecurities
Buried with inveterate tendencies
Her words were sweet as honey
Easily succumbed to vulnerability
The final result came from pity
Satisfaction lasted for a moment
Confusion is here to stay

Rain On Me

Cold days
Skies are grey
The sound of raindrops
The thundering clouds
Resembling
Parts of my soul

A glimpse of vulnerability
Fragility
But above all,
Tranquillity

Every once in a while
I love being,
A pluviophile
