A poem's a precious gift
for those who value thrift
A treasure of pith and brevity ~
respite from volumes' longevity
Care is a gentle touch,
It speaks volumes, oh so much.
Showing love, concern, and trust,
Care is the bridge that binds us.
Unguents and lotions for face but the ignored lines on neck speak volumes

They were speaking loudly.
Nothing could I hear.
Volumes are clear.
Chatter is around me,
Nothing could I hear.
Am I listening?
~Just as the letters speak volumes words will always add those letters sent?~

she chose the size and pattern carefully
it's subtle yet speaks volumes
reveals no more than what she wants

Volumes
With broken steps
and weakened feet
she treaded cautiously
tickling the leaves
as they began to sing
a rustling hymn
Amtrak with equipment’s endowed
Each car comes with stainless steel shroud
Yet my quiet ride
Was sadly denied
By announcement volumes too loud

silence speaks volumes~
the pause between syllables
echoes truth like thunder
Global warming steams at full speed -
Bikini line seems to recede,
The trendy touch speaks
Volumes of bare cheeks -
The climate gets hotter indeed!
silence is not always golden
sometimes it speaks volumes
if one listens
to bodies'
voice

Brian Strand blog series
speaks in silence
volumes of the heart
for the giver
the warmth and eternal love
fresh in the morning dew
a rose presents
a blooming bud
of a glowing true love
death speeding down the rail
desperate last breaths make appeal
‘stead of a dash to the rescue
speaking volumes
about values
camera flashes for
front page display
Virile bibliophile -
Volumes, his vaunted prey -
Vibrant and versatile.
Voracious in a way,
Vastly varied in style.
Versed quite literary,
Vermin literally.

stan sand
Between your lips
Only something so beautiful
Held in silence
I could see
For your pen
Spoke volumes
Only i could hear
Everything you left unsaid
Sitting on two
Parting to be one
Soooo,
Here I am again,
Cutting a path through
Your jumbled words,
Trying mightily to
Understand all you say
In the volumes you speak,
Because, I know love,
Is in there somewhere!

say much
saying little
speak volumes
in few words
keep quiet
silence roars
economy of words
whittling away
paring down
all I say
tenuous talking
baby steps
to arms
there all along

Constancy of will is a power
Present where few may expect.
Men who won’t rear it reject
Dreams to blossom into a flower.

Let your action speak volumes
Always keep your head up
It all starts with you
Continue to rise towards the top
Enlighten and empower
Enhance your vision
Believe in yourself
And make it happen
long night
starlight
under a moon
that swoons
waiting
longing
pulling at straws
our life on pause
token promises
hits and misses
while darkness looms
silence speaks volumes

Purple vetch and ribwort plantain
Jostle lush clover in English rain
Dogrose dotted on a briared sprawl
prickly as it meandrs tall
Speaking volumes of words,unheard
Spring,flowers,in which all senses merge
It is more of what you do
And less of what you say
Actions speak grand volumes
In every way
Words only mean so much
They never say how we really feel
Time will continue to pass on
Actions indeed are a big deal
A soft red design, fluffed up with fur
She’s crossing downtown area
Looks like fire on a woman
Tenderly scraping sides
Looks indifferent
Yet speaks volumes
With shoulders
Screaming
Fire
