The Village Venus

Momentos of Harry Cox
The wife has stuffed in her box
She always wants more
I don't know what for
She's just as sly as a fox!

Untitled #313 / Venus and the Northern Wind

Agh! My soul is chilled by this
evil Northern wind! I cry for love!
Venus, where are you?
Somewhere closer to the sun.
Always closer to the sun.

Venus

Your darted arrow of Venus impales
Our demise persists through our veins
The echo in my heart is hopeless
What is love when death skims the surface?

Venus De Milo

Venus de Milo sought high and low
for her arms akimbo. Long ago
I offered to look too
for those two lost ampu-
tated limbs, but naught said that bimbo.

Mars and Venus

On Mars it's a man you will see.
On Venus a lady will be.
     But what's so amazing,
Will make all your heads ring.
They both get together with glee!

City On Venus

My dream futuristic city
My city in the heavenly tropics
My walled Indian city on Venus
My city with tropical flowers
Luxury condo buildings with white balconies.

Men have logic and physical strength, Judging objects by their width and length. Yet lose despite strong ammunition, To women's innate intuition. November 28, 2019

Jupiter Above Venus

June, the month of Jupiter, aligned above Venus,
destined to collide by sight;

The space between the two behemoths, the
gas the light.

Jupiter above venus, in the night.

Gift of Venus

Upon our wicked heads–rain down
Your lovesick gift;

Of cloudy birthright,
Enthrall my vile seas–
	Make heaven of
This autumn forest;

I wait to rot
Amidst your trees.

Venus Just One Planet In the Solar System

Venus is the only planet in the solar system
Which spins in a counter clockwise movement.
For me, her behaviour is clear like a crystal,
Out of all the planets -she is the only woman.

From the cup of Venus

A few drops of Gods' ambrosia I drunk

Thus

Among the Olympians myself, I found

Because of your love!

Venus

Venus sings a love song
Everyone in deep space longs to hear
Nebulae in endless darkness shimmer
Until the time they disappear
Such passion echoes around the universe

Overheard at a Jewish wedding:

She's quite a catch
  Mazel tov! L'cha'im!
    Bottoms up!
      Down the hatch!

Hey, why so blue?
  He's a dream come true
    Mazel tov! L'cha'im!'
Hope he's the right one for you...

Premium Member Venus Down Under

The sun rose to the occasion
To greet the waning moon
Who had greeted the Willow Tree
Hoping at midnight just a little spoon

What a delight to see them
In the early morning light
Venus orbiting down under
Wishing to view the sight

Venus

Your infernal far fleeting light affairs
attracts so many earthly lonely stares!
Goddess of love a moon you still do lack
a Lonely travel seems for you a fact

-The planet is one of the few in our solar system that has no moon..ironic?-

Venus Envy

Some say Zephyros blew her off
They say she was a newborn being welcomed
Others assert Horae furnished her clothing to hide her shame
Well, I can see and I have my own theory of this work

All that she wanted was a few squares of toilet paper!!!!

Venus

The softness of silk, the vibrancy of colors,
The scent of a woman, the fragrance of flowers,
The longing in love, the flight of imagination,
The rhythm in music, the creative inspiration -
O, thou art the essence of all that's beautiful!

Hotentot Venus

Never mind my stare,
When yearning I fall.
I am here drowning in your bar.
Watching you sipping cola,
Can you see me,
If you can.

There you bend over,
Could you for me,
You are sipping again,
Could you me?
You may not be you.

Nonwhite
vestiges
of heaven's fine brew
fate are magical items

that grow like flowers over tiny
ayes in painting spells that happen

repeatedly or that
include
a sudden on-
set of
yearly belov-
ed small

Virgins were we both when first we met
Each fumbling encounter; awkward,
Nudity was a new experience.
United eventually in passionate embrace
Sex was discovered; much later, love.
