not knowing what to expect
sheer joy of discovery

Life is filled with ups and downs
But smiles usually outweigh the frowns
There will be a plus
Forget all the fuss
Think happy and wear a pretty gown
What drives us is towards better gain,
but there’s winning; losing and some pain,
so when on life’s highway,
if it all comes your way
then at times you’re in the wrong lane.
Flaws and scores
Less and more
Foes and pals
Toils and malls
Walls and doors
Ceilings and floors
Joyrides and loads
Woods and roads
There’s never a pause
That is how life goes
Anxiousness cause a breakout in hiccups,
When sentences sound like dainty teacups,
I cough them out, like troopers,
Catch audience jaws, droopers,
Hard look made all of them, only shut up.
Life's ups and downs, smiles and frowns
All part of living, as the world goes round
Patience my friends
All's good in the end
Good stuff's coming around the very next bend
Rah! Rah! Rah!
Another night of dreams,
one after another, flickering half images
echo real events but bare my heart.
I try on new realities,
like dazzling garments or popup stores
of evanescent wants I may not admit to myself.
Processing grief is an overwhelming process
of momentous highs and lows -
which can bring the joy of a wonderful
memory and the next moment
brings the lows of the crushing loss
but HOPE shows itself as life continues
Those
days are gone
When anything makes
You Angry or sad ,stressed
You just cry
Though we have our ups and downs
On this path of life
Through happiness and sadness,
Harmony and strife
We come good from path we stood
On a levelled plane
With built in feelings for all dealings,
To withstand again...

Someone broke my best friend’s heart.
They’d been together throughout the entire lock-down.
And even though it looks like we’re entering a freer time,
he said it felt like she’d become part of the claustrophobia.
Explanations can snag on nerves like fishhooks.
open heart
willing hands
happiness abounds
maniacal feelings
lithium helps
sheer sadness now
high on life
whizzing around room
love for strangers
cutting begins
worthless feelings
life seems hopeless
joyfulness out of bounds
entertaining love for life
falling to doom
Smiles
for fun
cuddly pets
falling in love
small children trying things for the first time
When I see someone treated unfairly
war and hunger
unshed tears
make me
frown
