Ups and Downs

Smiles
for fun
cuddly pets
falling in love
small children trying things for the first time

When I see someone treated unfairly
war and hunger
unshed tears
make me
frown

The same things that make you happy and sad are the things that make me feel the same way, Shani. A lovely poem for the contest and I wish you success. Love, Carolyn
