I am unhappily walking the plank again
Hearing the tick tocking of the crocodile's stomach
Knowing my muse is laughing her guts out
As if throwing me down the stairs and into a cavern
of wild boars who had not eaten for three days
Was not enough to keep her amused the rest of the week.

Just getting wet

Saddened
By things done and undone,
Unhappily
I seek to abandon
Thoughts of reason,

And I step out in drenching rain
As angry sky takes revenge
On opaque clouds
Blocking its vision,

Unprepared,
I pretend to have fun
Trying to convince myself
I'm dancing in the rain,

But if truth be known
I'm just getting wet.
