Just Getting Wet

Just getting wet Saddened By things done and undone, Unhappily I seek to abandon Thoughts of reason, And I step out in drenching rain As angry sky takes revenge On opaque clouds Blocking its vision, Unprepared, I pretend to have fun Trying to convince myself I'm dancing in the rain, But if truth be known I'm just getting wet. Hi Vijay, I feel the total sadness in this write my friend. Your emotions are strong, painting the sadest canvas. No matter how I feel. once in the rain my mind starts to sing and I forget about the wet. My sadness usually comes with the sun for some reason. A weird bird really. This reminds me of a sign I have in my home that says...life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, but learning to dance in the rain. :) Well written Vijay.

A very cleverly expressed piece. The reality is that many are pretending. Just look at the sadness in the eyes of all those selfies.
