Twigged Tapestry
Twigged tapestry
Fragilities warm embrace
Of soft future babes
An odd weave, Assorted lot
Avian's chosen shelter.

It Looks Like a Twig, It Crawls Like a Twig, It's a ---
The heat is soaring;
No breeze to allay;
Little puff clouds drifting,
Magnolia leaves falling,
No moisture in sight,
A twig lay on the bannister,
Or that’s what it tries to be,
It is a long camouflaged insect

Crystal Dreams and Poetry
Crystal doorstep, crystal swing!
Carry me to our angels nest, made into our holy, twigged love-ring.
Where the softest of all gentlest raindrops,

Warble songs of sweetness to my most humble bowed head.
Do read me poetry, till God's silvered-moon ascends!

Brown branch, pale blue sky and dusky feather,
Spoggy silhouette in the spring weather.
("Spoggy" is Australian slang for Sparrow.)...

Broken Desire Highway
deep brush brown her locks
turned my key
pleading nutmeg eyes
her lips, face dried out from
too much jesus not enough sex
and here not even a cold hollow kiss
could dampen the warm nest we twigged
together a million miles stranded
off broken desire highway
here flesh puppet carcasses
burn their sidewalk gaze into the ancient wind rage
and cornered angels sing rock of ages to broken ears
who would hear
a song rising up to paradise...
