a reality
in the midst of it all
realizing the pains, the hurts
the dirt roads, and paths
to the destruction that lasted
a detour, fast turnaround
finding a new path, a new road

ending in surprise

Night
engulfs
the moments
of erst day’s breath,
wherein we were lost
in pursuit of daydreams,
now compelling attention
to look at the voids within us,
as we fall into the dark abyss.

Shift from loneliness to aloneness,
marks a dramatic turnaround 
wherein we cease all seeking,
becoming a witness
watching a movie,
as the darkness 
so becomes 
glowing
light!

Coral, crimson, copper,
Wine, maroon and amber-
I radiate a riot of colors
Born of life’s fervent flavors.

Laying my bosom bare
To the cool, crisp air,
I let my leaves depart
In rhythm with divine art.

Gliding, twisting, twirling 
To notes of farewell morning,
My relics come to rest on ground
And aid in life’s turnaround.

I begin to breathe in grace
Transcending time and space,
As I prepare for the season
Of death and decay on horizon....
