Fall Farewell

Coral, crimson, copper, Wine, maroon and amber- I radiate a riot of colors Born of life’s fervent flavors. Laying my bosom bare To the cool, crisp air, I let my leaves depart In rhythm with divine art. Gliding, twisting, twirling To notes of farewell morning, My relics come to rest on ground And aid in life’s turnaround. I begin to breathe in grace Transcending time and space, As I prepare for the season Of death and decay on horizon.

Dear Harpreet, your striking imagery captures the transition of Fall, with its "riot of colors" and "gliding, twisting, twirling" leaves, with lovely elegance. I have always embraced and favored the great beauty of the Fall season. A rich personification of Autumn, my friend. Warmest wishes.. ~Susan
