I'm the blue among
Black and white: I am like you
As we are of hue.
My uniqueness as false
As the true colors in you.
With the sun drowning;
into the depth of His clouds
The wind continued;
to gust the only beauty;
and true colors of nature

GREEN when immature, its namesake when "ripe"
an apple, hides its true flavors
Green when "green" but from red passion to yellow lies
Face off
Pressed gently
To the exterior
To remove all causes
Take away the disguise
That covered the skin
Oh, so soft
Unveil the true colors
Take your face off

They protest to not be a drama queen
but just can't wait to jump into the scene
Pretending to be a friend
Verbal daggers they extend
Their true colors are now vibrantly seen
Suddenly a familiar voice transmitted through
The telephone, overjoyed we laughed for moments
As true colors of friendship showed through;
So showed joy therein our simple moments.

scintillating sun

except long shadows
captives of white heat
as sun shows its true colors
midst adoring blooms
I wear colors without apology
I love who I love
No fear no shame no need to hide -
I carry my truth with love and pride
Every step tells my story

I'm enough just as I am

Enough is now enough,
so I will rip down
the pictures you have of me,
that are painted with hate and anger.

When I told you what I
Find out.
Then you went and Blindsided me.
Protecting your image
And your family.
Was more important
Then the truth.
So you took Emily
From me .
And I saw your true colors.
I knew then you
You were never for me.

Keep life moving forward
Even if it's going the way
Not the same with before
Sometimes, be aggressive
To build up armour for self
Sometimes, being gentle
To feel relatable with others
Sometimes, play the fool
To see the true colors of many
Life isn't always good
It depends on whom you turn to.
Too many chances
And since then, I’ve checked out
It takes fright to be you again
We’ve listened to this song
Far too many times in one sitting
Can we end right here
While it’s still dark out?
The light hurts my eyes
And I’m not in the mood
To see your true colors
I’d rather live in a black and white world

If I told you I loved you...
would you walk by my side?
If I told you you were everything
to me
would it change how you feel?
If I were to paint love in colors...
would you see only black and white?
Or would you see...
The true colors of my heart?
