So you drive a posh Motor Home
For goodness sake
Elate your mate
And lose that damn garden gnome!
Thoughts honking at me,
We're trapped in a traffic jam
Eager to reach home,
I let them pass me by on
The midnight road to nowhere
we travel for hours and hours
flogging our fossil-fueled powers
when we get there
we are nowhere
as our taste for the present sours
commuting
