Dick Tracy
If I were a boy I’d wear mini skirts
I wouldn’t be manly for what it’s worth
I love girly things
Like ribbons and rings -
I’d be a sexy transvestite who flirts!

A Club Sandwich
There once was a woman named Tracy

Who wore clothes that were a bit racy

Till she got drunk in a club

     And was mistaken for grub

By the wolves who thought her quite tasty!

Premium Member Green Glorious Beautiful Green
emerald of ireland
verdent irises of my daughter Tracy
fresh buds on my willow tree
pea pods and green beans

I reach for this color in a variety of hues
painting stalks, stems, leaves, and snakes
placing an emerald stone on my cartoon queen
green, green, green, glorious, beautiful green!...

Premium Member Too Little Too Late
mom, without malice,
cast upon chastity spell,
overprotecting

Timid Tracy never had a date,
Humbly yet she accepted her fate
Mom, so wise and adept,
Refuses to accept
Her dear daughter's virginity state

thoughtful advice from the wise often takes young in the right direction but at the wrong time

Premium Member When I Grow Up
when I grow up I shall live in a duck, Tracy said.
we thought she was kidding, laughed until we were red.
a sculptor, artist and painter, she now lives in a duck.
outside parked in her driveway is her fancy food truck.
yes, she was going to sell tacos and churros too.
no one laughs now, and her bank account is terrifically blue....

All About Me
Makayla
Caring, smart, loving, curious
Daughter of Vernon and Trudy
lover of shopping, animals, crossword puzzles
who feels happy at school, sad when animals die, and alive when out doors
who gives love, kindness, happiness
who fears doctors, needles, spiders
who would like to see the black sea, Hollywood, and India
who lives in Clear spring, Maryland

Premium Member Uncle Charlie
Uncle Charlie Miracle Man 6/13/2022 He was older than old Dick Tracy, more informative than a Sear’s catalog. The stories he told were often racy, but his life was taken by a one eyed dog.* *A greyhound Bus with one headlight, that came streaking across the land. It mangled his body, what a gruesome sight, he died with his cane pole in his hand. Not really. LOL

Lost Esteem
I am beginning to reckon
That to Miss Tracy I beckon
I permit to my image ruin
With the strength of the rains of June;
In the end self-esteem erode
And parts of my flesh corrode
And Miss Tracy lavishly goad
To balance on my shoulders load
I should see its rubbishy content
To delay not a vile intent…

I’m now some cycle Tracy rode,
For which like river she had flowed;
Thunderous laughter did explode....

Slug Trails
Seems soup mail aint working... Tracy sent me a Verse about reading Slug trails on the walk, but Grannie fed em table salt to stop their talk, no bloody predicting allowed, snail trails under a Turkey shroud, they'll just have to squeak and squawk, in the creamy cloud, says Mork from Ork, for the feeble and less endowed,, the centtrafuge will make you talk, perhaps the footpath should be plowed? Premium Member Riding his Balloon Animal
Larry was riding his balloon animal to Tracy Town.
The balloon animal threw him off, onto the ground.
He got back up and said “Let’s do this a different way”.
The balloon animal bucked him off again, that very day.

So Larry got a needle and chased the balloon animal away.
Down the hill the balloon animal ran, then swam across the bay.
I wish I could follow you, Larry said with an intense frown.
But I think I will just travel by myself to Tracy Town....

Premium Member Wild Ride
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood
And I rushed down one half way,
Turned and rushed back, tried the other.
What to do, what to do, which way to go..
Which way do the arrows point,
Home or away, with friends or alone.
Indecision has been with me always,
Stride for stride there by my side.
Surely not the most stress-free journey,
But it has made for an interesting ride.

First line from Robert Frost's
The Road Not Taken

The Party Trick
Taught to me from a friend you see
Old band mates were she and me
With her hair a little longer
And frame a little smaller
It really was a kick
When she played like “Cousin It”
And everyone would laugh
With this trick of days gone past

Now I haven’t seen her in a while
But the memory made me smile
And as I thought of her today
I couldn’t help but play
Then took a picture for all to see…
That I am just as silly as she!!

- for Tracy…thanks for the laughs!...

Lee Retiree, 66 Remix
Never one to be lazy,
Lee’s energy astonishes,
Clarity hallmark avoids the hazy,
Kristie et. al. he garnishes,
Materials investigator a la Dick Tracy,
Friends, Lee never tarnishes,
Quick stick moves as a Blue Jay,
Loyalty, he harnesses,
Learned from all at Poly,
Save the nobility (Kedusha),
Of the morning (Youthfully),
For some, retiree harshness,
An evening, but we wish Lee’s a dawning Be!
