Terrible tornados toppled trees tearing trenches through the terrain,
“Took my tonsils,” told Timmy Thompson, “like taking a tongue twister train.”

some people titter
some giggle
some snicker
not me
with me you get the full out donkey bray
The milk flying out of my nose
my tonsils showing

We cook it ! Feel your tonsils tingle!
Add mayonnaise, lettuce, a pickle.
Lost both tonsils at ten
so can I ask you when
my change comes to more than a nickle?

things I can live without...
appendix
tonsils
gallbladder
one kidney
spleen
you
so far I still have all of these
God willing...I will keep them
you...not so much

Tonsils With An Adenoid
Took out my tonsils and adenoid,
Then did remove my hemorrhoid;
Received an itch,
From each stitch;
My life more comfortably enjoyed.

Limerick
Standing still, she smells so sweet,
tongues tickle tonsils, this trying treat.
Fevers flourish, fantasies flew,
better.....breath.......because.......becoming............blue.

Do people still get born with tonsils
Or have we evolved past that stage?
Why were they there anyway?
Maybe for when we were mere-creatures
Mermaids and mermen
Swimming in Atlantis

My nephew whose first name is Dennis
With ladies he loves to play tennis
But he is so fickle
Their tonsils he’ll tickle
Young Dennis is a truly a menace!

Limerick
You groin suckers working your glistening rod through time's
Silver pole, fandangos swallow it whole; gulp, the goo of yes you....
Grasping, it's shaft sliding across these slippery tongues teasing tonsils
Twisting in a bind to gather their droplets at the back of your daemons throat.

sound Rare alarms!
jealousies' charms!
on your favorite lip-stick
pressing In thick

are such Ghastly inessentials!

Rhyme
Poetic injuns snarl
The deprecation of land
Defacing of meaning
The grappling with cold
Hospitalized truth, creaky tiles
Curling sand from loveless fingers
Exactitude measured from fininitude
All consuming chains of being
You will be digested as chunks of matter
The law in the same
As for a grain of wheat
There's no special deviation
For walking tonsils with big brains

A warm front beseeched her
Sweet vocals of glittering jazz
I fell into the intricacies of riddles
Chasing the pavement of cultures
Upon her breath.
Had our tongues even met?
A memory impossible to worship
The echoes of dragon fire
searing at the base
of my tonsils
A sea surfing current of hurt,
yet a pleasurable hurt
an enjoyable suffering

Imagism
A warm apple night,
moonlit tunes sprinkle around us
like snowflakes in July.
I collect them with open pulms:
silly dances, smiling eyes,
tightened arms when time felt too fast—
in the fabric of cider air.
The city wore coal dust, but
he smelt of cut grass and
noon lake so serene—
I dreamt of bluebirds from the west
eager for new water.
Green leaves as tonsils, for our
eternal midsummer.
