We walked the beach, held hands, danced in the rain…
I’d go that La La Land time and again.
But what a bummer,
Dream of midsummer!
By dawn my fantasy did slowly wane -
Soaked wet I was, I must have kissed the rain.
I may be small,
But I am cute.
I try to grow legs since I was a youth.
People make fun of me time and again,
Because the step stool is my best friend.
I carry it with me everywhere I go.
I just don't understand why my legs won't grow.
We
have met
shining souls,
who affirm truth,
having been and seen
domain of love and light;
not once but time and again,
sharing with compassion visions
of subtler realms above this earth plane.
