mocking
innocence
black widow
hung in her web
teasing paassersby
so curious
that curiosity
became
a webbed experience
Oh wondrous night tell me why the web of your mysteries must weave in darkness?

Searching the web for signs of life
Something to ease our daily strife
Hours slip away
Night becomes day
Luckily, there's always the wife!
Find myself disconnected
From the web
Which underlies my life
Is it humanity misdirected?
Or am I?
This underlies my strife
afraid to let go
we dwell in our comfort zone
in the web of illusions
befriending silence
as awareness self-aware
we discover light of Self
Social Media….
the web we are all caught in
Waiting for the spider’s bite
—and our venomous end
(Villanova Pennsylvania: February, 2016)
On the internet I am a rookie,
But the web site said they would book me
A tele-health call
And my Doc's on the ball
But I had a mouthful of cookie!
Brit's spy guy from Ian Fleming
Is Bond who goes chaos stemming!
When the web of life slumps
See how quickly he jumps
Sadly to die like a lemming
the spinneret autograph
not too kind to the insects -
the little people
the web of rich and famous
deceptive, friendly and fake
Youth
Youth with innocence shining bright
Like a dewdrop in the morning light
A fragile orb, a shimmering tear
Caught in the web of Life's despair
riding the web
she is a spider
and weaves a web
for the next meal
as trapped in her tangles
you have no chance of escape
she mummified you
for the next meal
Fragile fleeting dew drop spheres
Pearl the web as day appears:
Silken string of fairy tears.

They are caught in the web of enthusiasm
Radical thoughts locking their minds in spasm
Unsure of their locus
Eyes blinking to focus
Following leaders into the chasm
Surfing the web, came across this site
An offer to make me rich overnight
So simple, this ploy
A matter of joy
Sell my first born and a night with my wife
Surfing the web, came across this site
An offer to make me rich overnight
So simple, this ploy
A matter of much joy
Sell my firstborn and a night with my wife
more cash
for this fake life that is my soul, less
the less i bleed, the better for hollow
and now they're dead
strangled by the web of fame
I want some caramel popcorn.

Diamond sequins lure his threads
Silken lies, the web he spreads
Breaks her heart, a tear she sheds

solitude…
here
all alone
among the crowd
of my thoughts
my mind
weaves through
the web of time
shaping realities from
the bitter sweet cup
of tamarind seasoned
reflections…

Web wet with dew sparkles in morning light
The spider toiling all night
Hoping for a banquet
Working all night to support family
Caught up in a web of debt
Hopes for a miracle

The equivalent of “ha ha ha” in Japan is “www”
It originates from “warai” meaning to giggle too
Not the web address
As you may have guessed
The world over, it's a desire to enjoy the zoo
