silent tears rain down
as upon my knees I pray
hands grasp the dark earth
tending the vegetables
as the master mends my soul
Lying is like raising a child,
It always needs changing and tending to,
For one wrong misstep might be fatal for both child and parent.
Listen to poem:
Mother's
Day
Roses
I
gave
Who
tends
your
grave
but
I
This heavy shaded room,
Your rattle of difficult breaths;
I had to go out
And come back in correct,
To silent clocks
Tending your face
And lights gone out
All over.
my cat purring soft
on my lap as I watch TV -
and my heart just smiles
tending my garden
on a sunny summer day -
and rain brings a frown
Everyone laughs
at Jerry's crude jokes
He's a regular guy
a bar-tending bloke
But never ever joke
that his mum's soon to croak
Jerry's fists will soon find you
~ You won't be saved by the bell
A wonderful wife and mother, raising her sons and tending her flowers were her love. She was called home to be with God when her love had taken root. Now she will forever be with God to tend His flowers.
she wants to make herself heard
but the busy sun has walked his estate
tending to matters, some urgent, some free
a new dawn, she sings again to remind
this bird, her song is sung for all
Find me in my costly time
Reading books to learn
Puzzling phrases together
Tending the exciting crime
Surrounded with pen and paper so cute
Adorable in front of the table
Come and find me in my solitude
Born in giftedness of innate purview,
Tending him like tender scion, is vital.
Send him to play, work isn't his battle.
Never let school, for him, be accidental,
Ergo, let's earn his souvenir from this review.
Just by amassing
a plethora of material goods in life
without tending his spiritual needs
one
can never succeed in enriching his
soul !

Shiny thirsty black crows
Sitting neatly in rows
Eyeing Sally’s water hose
Been there since this morn
Working Sally will not stop
Tending to her growing crop
Will not give the crows a drop
Because they ate her corn

Taught tax topics twenty times
Touting tax tips he tried
Till terribly tongue-tied
Twisted tongue tending to twine

Visit
Today to
Cemetery
Father's Day no dad
To talk to and share thoughts
Too hot to stay and visit
The grave was in good shape weed free
Mother's parents and grandparents' graves
Need the grass pulled out and tending some...Sad
Charmful lemon-shaded dragon,
Happy and respectful!
Aptitudes off the charts as a
Reassuring and delightful storyteller.
Intelligent beyond belief and
Overwhelmingly friendly and truthful while
Tending a pumpkin patch!

'Neath nocturnal bloom
the essence of self
dwindles in a pillowed horizon
twilight dies a whisper -
your voice in my ear…
the pale goddess rises
mothering angel’s tears
tending till dawn
a moon garden vigil
bearing witness to your visit
the guru chakra vibrates
the master is at work
we adore His presence
holding erect energies
enlivening decaying form
wondrous is agape love
an effervescence eternal
tending to each leaf
both whilst held to the tree
and while falling to earth
Great lore
of yore
Big lands’
ranch hands
No work
to shirk
Tending;
mending
Bale hay -
okay!
Cows raised
Grass grazed
Horse spurred
helps herd
Strong fence
makes sense
Bull ride
gets tried
For kicks -
rope tricks!
I'm a small garden of the soul -
A place where we keep patience in tending roses...
thinking of each other,
trying to blossom like flowers.

My uncle,... so like Dad!
But a stout, big bellied version with different gait.
Joy he had!
But unlike Dad
Who was a town guy and refined,
No fad!
Busy,
Tending the farm.
Free!!
My uncle,... so like Dad
Who was a town guy and refined!!
Free!!!
Resting your wunderbar head
On my bare pubescent chest
Makes my throbbing pulsation
Adorably align to our passion of
Night and day chronicles while
Tending to your
Irresistible magnetic beguile that is
Captivating yet still addictive.
All we had was a fixed illusion...
We all had the same delusion.
We were never alive, although it felt that way
As over to school or tending our plantation.
We won't be born again, or live in suspect clover.

Penultimate month, November
Tending memories’ eternal ember
Sparking thoughts, grand and tender
With honor and thanksgiving to remember
For each who of the human race are a member

Tending anger’s
raging garden
seeds lie
burnt and dire
Each fiery breath
a vine ensnares
with thorns
of bloody ire
Tending anger’s
furrowed hate
with vehement
acclaim
A tirade lost
within the rows
of dark
— unending pain
(The New Room: December, 2024)
Tending my blooms, I curl
Long enough to gaze up at
Puffy white clouds sculpted
On a tranquil jeweled sky.
The light plays its game
Of hide and seek, causing
Me to smile, as I think God
Must surely be dancing in His haven.
