Chandela sex in the temple
Was certainly not so simple
To hold a pose
On tippy-toes
Whilst Shiva handles a limb pull!
Shadows on the valley floor
Appear with the rising sun
Pine trees cling to the steep slopes
Over boulders a stream runs
New Year’s greeting card
my spirit leaps up
respond immediately
a New Year sun rise
hymn echoes
the temple court yard

The ruler of winds
—time can’t surmount

Divine abode
Oldest cave temple
Saintly aura overwhelms
Abode for penance

While litres of milk drifted down the deity's idol like a river, the thirsty stomach on the temple steps wetted its lips.
Phew! ….her perfume as she passed,
knocked the swift from the sky
and the monkey from the temple wall:
beat fast my raggedy heart!
Spirituality:
Spark of divinity enshrined
In
The temple of undying soul!

Religion is really quite simple
Jesus drove men from the temple
Because gods need love
To reign up above
Or your dimple becomes a pimple!
Interest rates were not simple
When Jesus entered the Temple
The Loan Sharks agreed
That people in need
Must be squeezed dry like a pimple
Gunfire wounded
temple time passes by
fleeing dominance, anger,
lovers linger lost
freedom glorified, homage;
saffron incense calls prayer.
In the temple of autumnal faint light
Prayer lips ask the soul peace
Humane ground is blood-soaked

My body is my temple
Sometimes forget to remove my dirty shoes

Impossible is for a heart shelter to offer to love and hate and still call itself God's temple!

a
gentle gust of wind
from
the
sacred wings of
the
owl moth
extinguishes the
candlelight flame
with
its
bamboo wings
inside
the
Buddhas temple
Beautiful temple in ashen grey
I plead the gods come right away
My love is dying
I promise to play
Whatever the price I will pay
Gods just save my love
Gadaffi! That hole in your temple
will put a full stop to your trample
of the poor Libyans.
So, now the Syrians
say, "Assad, step aside; that's a sample."
I am a kid again...
Mama hums a lullaby,
Tying pink ribbons in my
Shirley Temple curls.
I am a princess,
My daddy says...and
He knows everything!

It is finished.
The Sacred Heart is pierced.
The temple veil is torn.
Heaven mingles with Earth.
The sacred pours over the profane.
The world is made anew.
People today are fat, not swift,
So The Western Wall needs a lift*
But here's the rub
An ancient tub
Saves each tear as temple gift
*(lift="elevator")
Brothel of delights
Temple to serve men and gods
A bridge between void and light
Playground of freedom
Church of law and God's judgment
A bridge falling into void

the dance... prismatic ~
WOODS
like a
church temple.
I walk winding paths,
past painted wildflowers,
to where the trees touch the sky.
