While litres of milk drifted down the deity's idol like a river, the thirsty stomach on the temple steps wetted its lips.

A fine write Swetha. So much is done in the Name of God but also so LITTLE is done in His Name.\ Rather than pour the milk down the side of an idol isn't it better to give the milk to the starving people? Jesus said "Whatsoever ye do unto these, even the least of thy brethren, ye do it also unto Me." Great Stuff, God Bless, JB

I see the two frames you painted so eloquently, Swetha..one where the plentiful milk flows..and the other that of a thirsty soul in prayer. Life is such a contrast that lacks harmony sometimes.

You got that right Vijay. On one side, there's huge amount of offering in the name of God and I don't say it's wrong. But unfortunately, we miss on the point that God delivered. We ignore the needs of the needy. Tremendous economic and social imbalance.
