twenty three adults
a cute flowers family
rare pinky flowers
two so cute babies,
and one lovely teenager
that is the whole folks
So, as Parents will do
Ask a teenager.
What are you up to?
And they say nothing.
We know that's not true
They're up to something.
welcome
to my little pawn
shop
I will sell
you my old
teenager dreams
don't worry
everything turned
out better this way.
A teenager goes to the dance
All swelled up with hopes of a chance
Makes an advance
Gets in her pants
Looks around for a new romance
parents master plan
angry teenager rebels
parents back off
mom sighs in relief
teen thinks he has won the battle
he is clueless
A teenager without a dime
Was suspected of a theft crime
When asked for ID
He said, "There's just me
And I'm Cliff; drop over sometime!"
A teenager searching for gold
Saw a girl whose tattoo was bold
It read, "You are here!
The treasure is near!"
But as he grew hot she grew cold
Mom captured my truth,
As a sixties flower child,
Yet in bloom of youth!
The above sketch was, of course, done by my late mother when I was a teenager.
I sleep in each day until *noon,
My *mum says I live on the moon,
If I think a day’s good *deed,
Is to *eye a Facebook feed,
Than to *peep outside of my room.
Off a lovely brown horse, I once fell off!
My derrière in pain why did friends scoff?

A teenager got stopped for speeding.
Said the exasperated trooper aghast:
“Didn’t you see the speed limit?” he inquired?
“No,” said the teen, “it sped by me too fast.”
As a teenager, hockey he breathed
A defenceman for the Toronto Maple Leafs
A star he became
Never knew his fame
After accidental death Tim's name was achieved
Life as an unwanted teenager.
My heart and soul desires.
Lost and confused.
behind my eyes is the lover
but behind my mask is the is the child,
the child that fights to get out...
A quiet teenager named Tina
Had bullies use words to demean her
But my memory lingers
cos she stuck up two fingers
then pushed them into the marina!

Time marches on so the gurus say
Brilliant deduction, the best for today
If time moved backward
Starting as an old bastard
Ending as a teenager riding a skateboard all day
As a bumbling teenager full of testosterone
Trying to impress a chickie but was accident-prone
Walked into a pole
Minor injury to my soul
Awkward as it was, ended calling her my own
Resiliently
receptionist recovered
recycled report
See subdued sunbeams
Subsisting still, somewhere shine
Suffusing sunset
Trendy teenager
Trusting tie-dyeing trainee
Tee shirt total trash
There she stood
AS stiff as wood
At the end of the street
Not saying a peep
Looking at the sky
Trying not to cry
Time flying by
Shes trying to live her life
But its cutting deep
Worse than a knife

grey morning, ten o’clock,
school gates closed
with all the pupils inside –
less than a mile away
empty park, empty playground,
except for a teenage boy
sitting on a swing,
rocking furiously to and fro
They found her body
And took it from the graveyard;
The rain washed her blood,
Cleansing the place of all signs -
But does her soul still linger?

*about a teenager murdered in a local cemetery
Cherished memories
pull at the heartstrings
for a time back when
teenage first love and romance
was so sweet and new
Oh how I wish someone could make me feel
a teenager again.

I’m not a Teenager,
I’m Human,
Sometimes,
Parents think I’m an alien,
Strange language,
Textual misdemeanours,
Designed to confuse, bemuse,
Abhorrent behaviour,
Perpetual beautification,
It’s just a phase.
Maybe.
