Stockpile

stockpile
within the
storehouse
of the mind
of emotional
supplies
a range of
tricks used
as a reserve
for when things
go a stray in order
to keep composure
in tacked

Every Human a Documentary

Boiling head
troublesome desires
searching hands
open mouth
storehouse belly
restless limbs
curious camera eyes
laboratory tongue
test tube nostrils
and software brain
but no device for replay
the rich documentary

Premium Member A Storehouse of Diamonds

    A storehouse of diamonds
      mired in human flotsam
be it on the sea, on land
      or the alleys of Amsterdam

    Each gem a rough jewel
      yearning to be polished
The world heaves a sigh ~
      as they fester impoverished

Thank God For Small Mercies

Thanks indeed great God for small mercies,
Chancy if man has all his wishes.
With just half, he’s doubled
His storehouse that troubled!
What else if wishes are wild horses?

Premium Member My Inescapable Valentine

An old house I am led to -it is the symbol of
memories in cobwebs - like those of old lost love -
a storehouse for so many things buried in my mind.
I open up its creaking door to see what I might find.
Lovely notes come wafting down the stairs to me.
The memories buried find me.

imagination
   the queen

an inner

to transform
the symbols

from

      well
          of
            chance
               imaginings:
into
a song

..from..
a storehouse
of the uncatalogued
to images

Premium Member Grows the Night

As the night grows, dreams get more thicker
a storehouse of the subconscious mind
opens to reveal unknown secrets
braiding lurking fears, secret desires...

As the night grows, fantasy mushrooms
moon cradle or sinking in a chasm
waking happy or sad, depends on
mysteries revealed, as the night grows.

God's Storehouse of Delights

In the Heart of the Kingdom of Love
yes, the Absolute true Love from Above,
The North, the Constant of our existence,
The freedom after the honest penance,
Is a storehouse of passionate Delights;
Sweet Jesus-Son shine eradicating our Nights
Fragrant gardens of wondrous rest
Straight from the Heavenly Father's breast!

Tozer, deep - thoughts
well explored with-
in the realm of man

Thankfulness, for what man
cannot touch -
deep mysteries of an eternal God

our speech, no matter
how profound cannot reach
the depths, God’s eternal
storehouse

A few things stored:
his love, grace, mercy

What’s left to explore:
(between the parentheses
of eternity)
god

Premium Member Sweeping Snow

angels sweeping out flakes
lackadaisically

successive shift:
fast and furious

angels on break
storehouse still
to be emptied

funniest sight?
a full-size snowman
drops from the clouds

foreman’s mad
he smiles though
at the cheeriest
curveball snow

angel’s never angry more
than a millisecond
heaven’s work a joy
yesterday, today and forever

Premium Member An Amazing Storehouse

Our minds are an amazing storehouse
Of vivid impressions since we were born,
All inside the brain, this vast warehouse
A perfect reason not to indulge in p**n.
Time may come when someone will read
Our minds, will they be shocked, for sure,
Especially if they find nothing of rare note
And a cerebellum filled with manure.

Happy In Marriage

Happy in marriage I am
I look at myself before
now I see someone else
mouth is long with complains
fingers rough with fending
hair has migrated with stress
stomach a storehouse of issues
back bent with burdens of love
voice that of a bull frog
I sleep long, dream nothing
for my best friend to this day
is my matrimonial bed
not my matrimonial partner
but the whole world tells me
I am happy in marriage!

When that memory comes back to haunt you,
Recall what humble beginnings it shares
It returns what started inside, long ago,
Your vast storehouse of experience, ‘tis true,
Though you might not recall its slumbering lairs
So low.

Consider what deep thoughts repose inside
For years hidden, ever festering, who cares,
Until your mind can no longer hold them in, so …
Hurls them into your consciousness; never died,
Let go!

Supersayings

Dreams become nightmares
When one sleeps through life
To be awake is to be aware
Nonviolence is a tougher fight

The brain is a filter
And the heart is a storehouse
Stealing and Stinginess
Will lead to the poorhouse

Never abandon belief
It's stamina for your actions
The right combination of love and hate
Is equivalent to compassion

Diligence trumps intelligence
So never be too proud
Let the work itself be the gift
And bonuses are sure to come around

28.
So this is the little shop
That you wish to stake your claim
Fill your precious storehouse
With sundries and fame.

So this is the commercial alter
That you pray to every night
Sell your cheap drink umbrellas
Hit on miracle sprites.

So this is the fun palace
That you built upon the sand
Worry not about foundation
Spit irreverently on its land.

So this is your soul’s investment
That you spend hours at play
Kill your own profit
Push eternal life away.

Unglued

The mind holds many memories
Which cling to it like glue,
A storehouse of forgotten facts
You hardly knew you knew.

But as we age, the files get filled
And when we try to store
New knowledge or experience,
There isn’t room for more.

And that explains why I just read
A novel I’d once finished,
A little hint to let me know
My brain cells have diminished.

For just like old adhesive
Will no longer do the trick,
There comes a point within your brain
When nothing new will stick.

Coming To Know Jesus

And taking Him by the hand
And knowing His words
In the Bible to be read
Makes a life worthwhile
To be fed with the blessing from His hand

Coming to know Jesus
Through His words
Doing what He asks
And blessing from the storehouse up above
Creator of a beauty to be loved

Happy in the Heaven
That God gave to me
To will His blessings
Of liberty and surety

Coming to know Jesus
Freely His love flows
In our hearts
Wherever we go

Sabbath School

Seeds of the Savior's garden
Advantaged by the early rain
Bud and bloom in grace and pardon
Bearing fruit that love sustain
Acres to be reaped, hands like buzzing bees
Teachers making the reapers bold
Holiness of word performed is holiness of soul

Send them forth to sow and garner
Christ the vine master empowers all
Heaven's storehouse becomes the richer
Omitting judgment, helping those that fall
O Lord, our God, we surrender all to you
Lead us to green pastures, your vessels true
