soliloquy of softness saddened
somber sleeping of starlight sound
song of silken sylvan sunset
psalm of satisfaction found
Mysterious sense,
Accompanying starlight,
Howling creatures thrive.

Fondly reminiscing under starlight
of sweet kisses in the cool breeze of a late august night

She rests her feet on crescent moon,
the shadow of a pearl, in June,
distant sky in lapis hewn,
her ivory starlight wishes strewn.
tropical night sways
as we glide under starlight
butterfly wings land
on my bare shoulder disguised
as his soft familiar touch
A verse for you my most beloved
A beauty borne beyond the starlight
Rapid starts a heart so sapient
The eyes define a soul’s delight
a bliss mist caps the Bindu zone
nodes glitter in head like starlight
poised thus we come into our own
frolicking in drunken delight
Starlight spills like frost,
dusting night’s dark velvet rim.
Galaxies breathe slow~
soft lanterns in cosmic drift.
a doorway breathes out starlight
hinges sighing like ancient skies
galaxies pooling at its threshold
night waiting inside
The grove of redwoods;
Silent, an ancient stillness,
Soothing and serene --
I once saw a goddess there,
Eyes of night and starlight hair.
Starlight
by Amy Swanson, 12/2008
Starlight, silver white
Twinkles in the winter sky
Holding my heart's wish
Brilliant is starlight to my eyes
Sparkling diamonds in black velvet skies
Cottage at the lake
Sunset blooms down by the shore
Spring wandering moon
Glass lake, starlight reflections
of skies that once knew the noon.
Deep in the storm drunk thunders crash,
horizons bruise black and blue,
but Earth still hopes for starlight,
and the lighthouse of the moon.
I've Got A Song, ... Sis,
Advent Uplifts.
Starlight, Boundaries,
Eclipsed.

night time’s starlight moon
curdles the whey of longing
clouds mask heart’s desire
trembling arms reach out to you
train whistles haunt the captives
Enchanting moment
Ephemeral moonflower
Blossoms in beauty
Bathed in opaline starlight
Through midnight hours unobserved.
Now starlight is freed,
my book with dreams implanted,
I hurry to read.
Eager to be enchanted.
That's where each wish is granted..
Sunset A Blaze of Color
red, golden sunset
as the day melts away to
night's starlight glimmer

Deepening dark blue
midnight swells with bright starlight
silver in the sky.
Winner 6th Place, Any New Poem, Robert James Liguori (Sponsor) 7/3/26
Is the starlight that we see
just remnants
of where it use to be
The light that
with honour given
hangs from her meekest eyelash
stealing every shadow
Swirling clouds twisting
High above the silent town
Constant movement with
Starlight illuminating
A scene of grace and beauty
Lovely dense poem
In the paths of life and death
Ocean in movement
A coveted companion
In a starlight or neon
