But verdure and sylvan where songbirds show.
The sun is sparkling me awake.
I hear songbirds singing gladness.
We’re all in the grass, me with shoes.
The sun is all-healing. I will be happy today.

After
electing the promise breakers
we'll emerge from our eggs...
as buzzards or songbirds.
leaving the shimmer of living
or the bones of death in our wake.
Birds were very
aggressive today
There is a ragged loud
screeching swooping Hawk
Outside always
Protecting his territory
Scarring the little gentle songbirds away
Songbirds are singing
all day long
they sing a melody
their notes sweet and strong
songbirds sing
their gleeful little songs
but this songbird sings
the staying strong song
It brings beauty,
It brings joy.
Beauty, love, stregnth,
All of these it brings.
It hushes the songbirds,
It quiets the forest.
It fills me up,
When I hear the notes.

So inspiring and with such great admiration
I marvel at the caged bird as it sings
I’ve concluded that is how the bird must fly
Having been orphaned from the use of it’s wings
