Dear Lin, Ahh Daybreak, there is a specific efficiency in how you’ve captured the "dew moist" transition of a morning. It feels less like a spectator watching the sun and more like an acknowledgment. Interesting though you bookended the piece with "Dawn" and "Lawn" because it creates a nice, grounded sense of place, as if the vastness of those "mauve skies" finally settles into the very grass beneath your feet. Amen! Blessings, Lin, Daniel

nicely done Lin...however there is stiletto feet of snow on the lawn and the songbirds are banging their cups on the icicles looking for food....

Thanks, John. No snow in New Orleans this winter to stop their morning trills here.
