Beloved Songbirds

Beloved songbirds
Gentle hearted feathered friends
Harmonious chirps
Afternoon engagement fling
Sweet entanglement tweeting

When I was reading this poem it made me recall an incident here in our neighbors avacado tree. There were a pair of birds taking turns on their nest and the one bird kept scolding the other. He, I am assuming it was the male bird, would fly away and then in about ten minutes he would return. Everytime he would get scolded until he finally gave up. It made me realize they have their own personalities and we should be grateful when we hear them singing in harmony. I enjoyed your sweet poem. ; )
