Loosestrife

purple wildflowers
loosestrife patch of pulse perfume
         lonely walkabout
too cool for songbirds to sing
          the whisper of dulcet things

I love a huhe patch of these flower though they are wickedly invasive bullies, at least in New England, hogging vital space for other wild flowers. Still, they are beautiful. Thanks for reading my brief history of angels. I did my best to stick to biblical facts and their use in paintings. Hope I don't offend anyone. Many thanks for stopping by. / M
