Zen Mode

do we feel the breeze
or solidity of earth
with gratitude
and trust

each breath
a gift from God
did we say ‘thank you’

Hardened Heart

Barriers cracked and chipped with age
Once standing firm now tremble in rage.
To regain the solidity once defined
That now lies uncertain, its’ strength resigned.

Broken Barriers

Barriers cracked and chipped with age
Once standing firm now tremble in rage.
To regain their solidity once defined,
That now lies uncertain,
Its’ strength resigned.

Zen Mode

negating our solidity
we wish to vaporise
wherefrom comes the pull
that propels us to feel full
what a joyride
with God inside
as silence layers silence
in a rapture continuum

Serendipity's Scrutiny

putridity rhymes with acridity
  for the same reason that
tumidity rhymes with turgidity

and tepidity is to vapidity
  as solidity is to rigidity
'course, all this has no validity
~ 'til they check my lucidity

Wind's Might

Colors of wind blow, scents I breathe in follow
Strong winds rushing below, under my body they flow
Soft blows circle around me, gentle breeze mesmerize me
Shades of wind complement day and night,
their beauty and solidity keep me bright!

A Threatening Wonder

Wonderful

And threatening

Those stories

Of wholeness

Appearing

Without the

Solidity and

Certainty of

You or me..

Which as the

Story goes on

Was never

Not this way..

A threatening

Wonder

Leaving us

Seemingly

On edge..!!

My Sixth Sense

Your beauty is transparent
Your voice serenades solace
Your spirit is the wind
Your oxygen keeps me breathing
Your skin is of honey
Your ruby red lips show off your cool-aid smile
Your solidity amazes me
Your curvaceous body intrigues my thoughts
Your eyes capture heaven
Your love defies logic

Verve Or Favor

Be optimistic rather than fatalistic. Don't squander and be elated hedonistic. Retain moving; only the obdurate survive. Hand jives your way to contrive. Slump or solidity must be omitted.  Wear awe mood when having moved.  Don't be shy in taking elitism. Self-reliance is a wedge of realism.

Impurity

Impurity

Where is the solidity of purity?
Where is the moral of solidity?
And the conservatism of life?

What do I see on the train at night?
Almost naked very young women.
The world has turned upside down.

Spirituality has disappeared from life.
The flesh pursues the soul, and light.
Women are more magnetic in long skirts.

Superman

Water beneath bridges is always made to move
below the penumbra of our blessed moon.
She flows freely through the mouth of its enclave
taking with her every notion of solidity;
I stand here firm as a rock watching her pour herself out
she slows my senses as she extinguishes my
burning thoughts, and makes me think of
Superman !

Treasures

On the cusp of a stranded daze
a chance is born
Straddling each strand of
a falling raindrop
Accompanying its fate a crust
soon forms
Wavering from solidity
to pangs
The eyes shut in reverence of
a faintly gaze
That renders all chances unseen
In the dazzling array of sight
two tears reverse
In the swelling cloud of woe
true treasures ply

Pearl 1

PEARL

Invested with iridescence
Calcium carbonate could impersonate
And subvert solemn daylight.

In the indifferent ocean
Oysters copulate with future
And grow gravid in nature.

Begetting a rare solidity
Befitting a miniscule masterpiece
Which is just happenstance

For a huge price, this prised-out gift.

Safety

I grew up with solidity in my safety.
I would say no to drugs.
Look both ways when crossing the street.
Practice stranger danger.
I was a smart child.
I knew my rights from wrongs, until wrong reached out its hands and grabbed mine.
The hand of a child, a father, a man, a woman.
Took the hand of a human born sinless.
The hand of a saint not yet tainted.

Soidity

Solidity

Separation insists
on our fleshly solidity
and fragmentary lives..
Perception daily strengthen
the confining argument..
We wish for transparency..for melting..
And search for relief
in idolatrous ways..
Until--
Transparency is experienced
as the real self
melting away the too solid flesh
which had convinced
our discomfort
all those years...

Rudolph Jon Rinaldi

RARELY
I WRITE MY NAME IN FULL
IT WOULD APPEAR
OF ME
TO BE
POMPOUS AND PRETENTIOUS
TO DO SO

FOR THEN WHEN YOUNG
I SAW
MY NAME IN PRINT
RUDOLPH JON RINALDI
HAD THE SYMMETRY AND POWER
Of A NEW SHINNY AIRPLANE PROPELLER PROP
BUT THAT WAS THEN
WHEN I WAS YOUNG

AND NOW IN AGE
IT SEEMS
TO BE
OF ME
TO HAVE
THE BEAUTY AND SOLIDITY
OF AN OLD ASS

A Matter of Love

The build of time and space,
the workings of suns and worlds.
The vastness of creative mind,
the depth of the empathic heart.
To spread the light to far corners,
the urge of life travels the cosmos.
Illusions of the structure become,
the solidity of every true thought.
How powerful is the grand ruler,
to turn the loneliness into love,
and invite the entire universe?!

There Is Only What Is Happening

"there is only what is happening"

this is the teaching;
what the senses sense
NOW
is the whole shebang..

 happening dissolves
the solidity of our
persistent illusion..

happening
not a noun..but a verb:
the momentary dancing
of experience..

seemingly
entering and departing
what is known as
Awareness..

More..
happening is
what we are:
Awareness dancing...

Journal - the Last Few - I

JOURNAL
The Last Few – I

This piece of
solidity
Sitting atop a
transparent world,
See-through only
because
Stability seems
fixed

Head back trying
to think,
A sense of blood
pumping,
A flash that cups
the hands.
The last few will be
searching

When one cannot
understand life
Then one goes
within,
Within where absence
softens.
Yet even then
stiffness remains

To Begin With

To begin with
Solidity is a mental illusion
The world always had its holes in it
We have no end, only confusion
Change always is indeterminate
O, but where did we begin again
Don't you see
The beginning was just the effect
Of the preceding cause
So now you agree we met before
That was tomorrow
But I cannot remember what you will be
Memory has a hole in it
And the pass is falling out
Like stars, one by one.

Endless Love

Endless Love

Until the edge of doom
endless love remains
there is no boundary
nor line drawn
demacation is absent
true feelings present
no due date
it's only love
doubtless love
certainty
real conviction
of love
sourced from a true heart
real foundation
like a fixed rock
secured
firm
steady
and ready
to remain still
unshaken love
a complete solidity
of endless love.

For Grandpop

You were the epitome of strength and solidity
The whole world you brightened, not just mine
Your stories were told with unmatched lucidity
Though the laughter and fear would entwine
We all saw, we all knew the worst could come
But you smothered the pain with a smile each day
You called me beautiful, gave me courage and then some,
But no amount of courage could make you stay.

I’m broken. My heart hurts. Goodbye.

Holding Hands

Holding hands soothes away a lot of hurts,
It gives the weak strength and courage,
The gesture of being conected creates
comaraderie,

Hand Holding suggests unity that cannot
be broken, by unkind words or segregation,
It exemplifies solidity, closeness and tenacity,

Gentle hands can help overcome adversity,
In the middle of nervousness and fear,
It is comforting to know that genuine kind hands are
always there.....

Yard

The yard appears larger, longer,
now the car has gone,
a wide and seemingly
meaningless space,
bare and insignificant.
And yet our yard has presence:
our yard, a part of this home,
a gate at one boundary,
a hedge at another,
a workshop wall on the other side,
structures with texture and solidity,
extension in space
and presence in time.
It is there, the yard.
It has never changed, it is the same,
although the car has gone.
