Weekends party in the warm house drinking hot chocolate.
Ice skates gliding on the ice whistles.
Numerous springs arise lakes streams now frozen.
Terrible snowstorms thaw.
Early snowfalls tire small animals hide.
Routine isolation carry tis the season to be merry.

A fluttering of feathered feelings
Stirring dust motes of memory,
That empty spot on the wall
All that space in the closets
Full of snowstorms and mitten moments.
Time sits idly in its chair
Waiting - tapping its fingers
Anticipating - that flurry of activity
