Winter Welcomes Spring

Winter weather snowstorms,
Snow and sleet compete.
Branches become art forms
When two seasons meet.

Moonlit mountains felting
Forms a welcome stream.
Charming snowman melting,
With him flees a dream.

Landscapes pristine, anew
Birdsongs fill the skies.
Winter's waving adieu,
Blessings for our eyes.

Springtime enters graceful,
Tulips first appear.
Attune, blooming, grateful,
At last spring is here!

I guess you never saw this one. I am finding it difficult to find poems that I can enter in Bryan’s contests. Thank you Andrea. I miss the colder weather. xxoo

You aced the 6-5 required form Beautiful imagery of the winter/spring snow storm. We have had 2 this week in S. Indiana. Beautiful at night coming down with a white morning that melts by noon. Daffodils hiding under the cold blanket. Well-deserved accolades on your placement.

Thank you very much Reason. I wanted to use Daffodils instead of tulips but it had too many syllables. : )

Thank you my dear friend. I have not been able to view poems or comment because of jumping screen on my Kindle. I am on my slow desktop and I can see them, but it just uses too much of my time to read poems on this antiquated computer. My kindle is so much faster. I hope they can fix the problem. It has been over a week now. Blessings and thank you so much for the wonderful Fave! love, Connie : )

Thank you for such a lovely comment Paul. I have had lots of problems reading and commenting from my Kindle. It jumps all over. It has been a week and I am still waiting for them to fix the problem. I am on my slow desktop today, but it uses much too much of my time. Cheers, Connie : )
