So I messed up
Had a snipe
And felt the rush
That won’t happen
Again...

Tom's Trembling Trigger

Old Tom Beckett, his knees getting weak,
Tried to snipe, but let out a squeak.
His spotter then sighed,
"Your aim's gone wide!"
"Just blame it," Tom said, "on my cheek!"

Light Up the Night
The time delay
and the sun's gold...
secluded itself in the well of God.

If I could snipe a flame from this brightness!
I will lit a fire in the husks of sleep
and light up the night for lovers
after a thousand years....

Was a big lizard who was fairly ripe
His pink and red top hat brought plenty of hype
Some were so jealous they began to gripe
The treble, the cleft, the tooth, and the tripe,
I thought he was adorable with his blue green back stripe....

Watch people go about their day
  What pleasant things they say:
Mutter, grumble, moan and gripe
Curse and condemn, carp and snipe

Something to prove, on the run, in the groove
Going nowhere fast, see ‘em move
Life’s delights make no impression
  Pleasures lost ~ to incomprehension...

Dog Chase
He's catching up..
Gotta go faster,
My little legs,
My little legs,
I feel like an ice dancer,
Hopefully mom doesn't see this,
She'll start laughing,
Freddy is on my tail,
He's going to snipe me..
The bush! The bush!,
Haha, Freddy,
Your in for a twist,
He's walking away,
Thinks Im done,
Not so fast...
Over the stick and through the grass,
To prance on Freddy I go!...

Judge much
but not wise
no surprise

Hearts of stone
eyes are blind
no comprehension

Pick and snipe
is not wise no
origional thought

Rigid standard
is their pretentious
banner sad

Free bird
shooting arrows
they kill

Their faith
is in themselves
noone else

Eagle soaring
too much to take
eyes turn away

Sail Captain
on stormy sea
Ship sinks...

Premium Member Grief
It attacked my life like a swarm of predatory wasps
Anger, regret, pain, confusion, to ruin me at all costs
unprovoked, vicious stings to my soul, many a tear
made me hollow inside, without joy, living in fear

Unable to run or hide for their venom is already within
To snipe at my belief, questions to drive reflection of sin
Should I seek reasons, or find solace needed in a friend
My friends helped win battles, and the war inside did end...

The Torchbearers
And then somewhere,
As days passed to years,
It was lost.
We had become the elder guard,
The keepers of tales old
And wisdom new.
No longer the hunters of Snipe,
Our youth, long since left behind
In those grassy fields and enchanted woods.
The future's endless possibilities
Have turned to numbered days,
Where victories are marked in sunrises,
And losses in lonely sunsets.
Slowly, we fade
Into the dimming light of tomorrow,
Remembered only by those
Who choose to bear the torch....
