Change the game
Make it hip
A rock

A paper covers a rock
A chip replaces paper
A rock smashes a chip
Into trillions
Of meaningless bits...

Requiem of the Rising Sun: March 11
Concrete cracks
Bridges snap
The sea descends
            Ranting and raving
On all our heads

She throws cars like pebbles
Smashes lives
Leaves mud and broken families...

Rebellion is a storm It rumbles
Tossing, scouring and rolling stubbornly
It tears here and smashes there
It roars and maul ferociously like a hungry lion
On it is trail ruins and destruction tell its tale...

Chic mademoiselles with their sexy French Kisses
Discrete lacy hotels ah, what bliss this is
A Francophile through and through
But I must bid you adieu
As my wife smashes my head with French dishes

Success
Shout and cries rose from the huts
hope and trust absorb their hearts
burn and pain leave the scar of their lives
but grashopper's fly smashes their memories
but the little baby cries' rub the sweat in their palms
troubles end with impossibles....

she announces herself days ahead
yet none of us are prepared
she tears us up and spits us out

A Lost Soul
As the thunder smacks throughout the night
the little boy still sleeps.

The lightning cracks and shakes the house
but the snores still seem to come.

Rain smashes down on the roof of the house
but the boy just won't awake.

Because he's dreaming of a long lost mother
who died on a day quite like today....

The Spring Rains Were Relentless
The house struggles
to keep its roof above water
The Gasconade river
smashes it into oaks
that slash the walls
slice the roof

The house thrashes
rips a telephone pole
out by its root
crashes
boards swirl
splinters in brown sludge

The round eye
of the satellite dish
does not blink
before drowning

Premium Member You Tell Him
The lone wolf howls his fury at the meadow flowers
They are shocked.
Lily says to Lilac, I thought he was supposed to be howling at the moon.
You tell him Lilac whispers.
Wolf stomps past them, angry; hitting the earth hard.
Smashes dandelions and wild daises in his path.
Not me, whispers Lily, long after he is out of hearing....

Confessional Hurt
Holding the ladder
I was hungry
looking at the waiting dawn.

Raw landscape:
narcissism
forages the belly.

Picking up the figs
from passion flowers.
Is that right ?

Can you sow the seeds
on a cloud ?
Unclothed words ?

Stealthily
a guerilla smashes
a summary of centre.

A falconer
releases a prey
to feed an anarchy.

Home
He’s home from the war.
The young marine throws his kit down,
piss’s in the sink, kicks the cat,
drinks a remaining fifth of J.D.
In a drunken rage
smashes her fine china teapot,
orders her to stop hiding,
threatens to kill her meddling mother,
demands sex
or he'll fork the babysitter.
Eyes wet with a mute sorrow
stiff face screaming:
I love you....

Rose
A bright red rose, sitting on my green grassy field
Swishing and swirling, tumbling twirling,
But so its image is precise like day like night
As so the wind smashes against my rose as
Though washing it away like a clean sheet of paper and as
Stars light up above so its streaking its light toward my beckoning rose
And so my bright red rose safe from the wind....

Clothesline View of Brooklyn
Window viewing a wall
knows no world other than
brick square against nothing;
laundry blows in the yellow
tinged wind. Flaps mimic
birds flying. Bras trapped by
wooden pins, splintering. Grey
points piercing smoldering
dust and fiber on its way
to the refuse below. A push
from an unseen hot whisper
of foul breath smashes it
into a window viewing a wall....

Black and Blue
Black and blue
As a stained checker board.
Pained
Like a stretched cord.

Enough
Stop pulling on me.
Let it go,
Leave it be.

The board creaks and cracks,
Color, it lacks.
On the ground, it smashes to pieces.
All the tension it releases.

The cord snaps in two,
Releasing what you put it through.
This pain is really nothing new,
But it's what is due....

Premium Member What Does Your Mother Say To Do
When a coyote walks past your driveway
in the middle of the day
What does proper etiquette say to do?

When a zebra steps hard
on your right foot on purpose
What does your mother say to do?

When a python grows arms
and slides you under the couch to eat you
What does Miss Manners say to do?

When a man kills your feelings
and smashes your trust into bloody bits on a sidewalk
What does your defense lawyer say to do?...

Everything Wrong
I’m so done with the way,
This community stays,
We talk about change,
But look the other way,
All this deviation,
From the people of this nation,
Is causing all of this perturbations.

Being a woman is a sin,
Be thin, Be thick, Be smart,
Play your part.
Act the way this society says, Just so that it suppresses you
 and smashes your pride,
“ Just be a good bride “
And you’re just left staring at them wide eyed...

Love Sucks
This is what love is not,
It comes and breaks people's hearts,
You can't be sure about it,
If the feeling is true or not.

Love is suppose to be a good thing,
All it does when it's over... hurts,
It crushes, burns and smashes hearts,
But that's a risk we all take from the start.

A risk, a chance what's the change?,
Love cannot be arranged,
no one knows when it comes and goes,
When it comes... be prepared to let it go....

Christmas Wishes
I see a wrapped gift
It is a china Santa
I’d wanted figures
Of the three ghosts of Christmas
Past, Present and Yet To Come

I drop the figure
It smashes on the hearth stones
Then I spot a note
And wondering what it says
I sweep the smashed china up

The note is from Claus
He says I should be careful
And look after things
He says that I may receive
Dickensian ghosts next year

A Thought
A car door slams a spoon falls tingling
as it hits the floor

a person shouts a drunken call as
he hit the floor

a tap drips popping your eardrums
a bottle smashes
it hit a dark and dusky tunnel wall
far deep in to the middle of night

the rain falls soaking the nights floor
i will not fall at the wet floor
to hold you again to love you
i will not sleep i will not eat until your resting here with me

The Quest
Man it's been decades
Wishing to myself,
And sing hymns...
Rejoicing to the self,

Just came back from the pits
Opposite the tabernacle of the temple
A G be another ghost so I'm creeping,
Seeking self midst my lower self
Behind bars of pleasure and freed by pain,
Contemplating my next move
As life swifts in time,
Rain hits trees and rocks maintain the ocean,
Deep dives: I'm taking a swim!
From splashes to smashes,
The fall I'm scared of......

Deception
Masked as a masquerade
Getting ready to raid
Wearing a plastic smile
Bearing a well packaged missile

Like a chameleon
Covered with many colours
Without one true colour
Liking to be cunny

Allergic to light
Holding darkness so tight
A smiling sadness
Hidden in the cocoon of self

Advices with the intent of vices
And smashes the face
With a slice of shame
Leaving behind doses of bitterness

Mimicry is the hobby
Wanting people to lobby
If you fall a prey
Sit up and learn...
