glitzy glittering sparkly blue and white Christmas snow
virginal with Jack Frost rhinestones where Santa's sleigh will go
seamen pulling hard
powerful harpooner strikes
Nantucket sleigh ride
unyielding force of nature
sea claims sailors forever
he is watching you
and what you do
little girls and boys
hi sleigh is full of toys
you must be bold
not unload
bad thing
SANTA KNOWNS
Frosty air tingles
Sleigh bells jingle
Gleeful hearts
-- and song --
commingle
Here comes
Kris Kringle!
Poor Rudolph was getting old,
He had the start of a heavy cold.
He did not want to pull the sleigh.
In the manger, he wanted to lay.

Sharing love and faith

By moonlit skies December chills
Winter wind rides sleigh for thrills
Stars twinkle from afar silvery
Two hearts together blend shivery
Santa Claus was in a tissy,
At this time of year, he's always busy.
Frantically polishing his big sleigh,
He forgot it was Christmas Day.
The olden times
silent night
echoes the warmth
of holiday gifting;
Sleigh ride friendships
are gifts bestowed by the heart.
There once was a pudgy old elf
he loaded the toys from the shelf
filled the sleigh full
too heavy to pull
needed to lose half of himself
We're singing the song of the sleigh
As Santa gets his underway.
The bells are a-jingle,
Our tummies a-tingle,
SO SHOUT OUT FOR THIS XMAS DAY!
Santa is NOT here anymore!
He shops at the Amazon store
There's no need for a sleigh
Gave the reindeer away
Our elves send a drone to your door!
Santa can't deliver your trike
Because all the elves are on strike
They want higher pay
To load Santa's sleigh
Perhaps you should ask for a bike
Reindeer lift-off to the sky;
A one night, round trip, world flight;
Exhausted elves bedding down;
Jolly man’s night ride.

memories
riding a sleigh
around the whole world
sharing wishes
here and there,
worldwide
bright
Dark, December days
dim brightest holiday lights
and silence sleigh bells.
She grieves for summer's sunlight
as tears fall like bitter snow.
Santa’s sleigh went out of control
Now he’s not gonna meet his goal
To deliver the toys
To the girls and boys
He tried to order one from the north pole
Rudolph refused to fly Santa’s sleigh
He wanted to keep the virus at bey
Santa showed him the tools
That he was to use
Which was, a giant can of v-spray
Santa loads
his bright sleigh
takes no roads
elves must work
all the time
never shirk
Mrs. Claus
bakes all day
Santa’s laws

Santa put away his sleigh,
As the sun came up on Christmas Day.
It's time for the Reindeers to celebrate,
They sang "Away in a Manger" and ate Christmas cake.
Odds are Kris Kringle won't Show today
Because Father Christmas leads the way
So jolly Saint Nick
Will be today's Pick
If Santa Claus will lend him his sleigh
Clicked on the news cause I wanted to say
what kind of stuff is happening today
Boehner's stepping down
The Pope has left town
And Santa is soon in his sleigh
Santa dropped in and was eager to pay,
Viagra was sadly left in the sleigh.
A tart doffed her teddy,
Said, "Santa I'm ready,
But doubt you're able to do it that way."
Santa knew he had a special mission
To make sure Putin's out of commission
With his sleigh of dynamite
Disguised as presents tonight
Down Putin's chimney upon ignition
White Hot Christmas
by Michael R. Burch
I’m back from my jog;
it felt like summer
on Christmas Eve.
What a bummer!
Forget the sleigh, Santa,
hire a Hummer.
