Beware
Beware if PC Siri comes to life
She’ll carve your life up with a knife
She’ll twist you around
Make you look like a clown
When asking a question, think twice...

I asked Siri how many times I had thought about you today, she said sorry I can’t help you with that.

She said she could tell me if it was going to rain if I wanted, but I already knew the answer.

So, I told Siri it was 22,104 and I think she was sad.

Siri
Siri, locate Walmart
Would you like me to Google Wall Fart?
Siri, locate Wallgreens
	I do not understand ‘sallscreens’
Siri, you are stupid
This is about you, not me
Siri, die!
Would you like me to contact the local suicide help center?

I checked my e-mail
Deleted the spammer
Then fixed my “I phone”
With a store-bought hammer

The Dr. scheduled a video visit
I told him “I’d take a pass”
Cuz there’s no way I’m stickin’
My own finger up my a..

My “phone” and I
Seem to disagree
‘bout who’s in charge
“IT” or me

I asked SIRI what do you think
“she” replied: I don’t
I just tell you what everyone else thinks

You know you’re really in trouble
When ALEXA texts you saying
“WE NEED TO TALK”

I think about technology..
How advanced it's become.
Has it made us any smarter?
Or has it really made us dumb?

We hold in our hands..
A small mobile device.
It's become our daily lifeline..
But think about the price..?

We've paid with our intellect..
No longer having to think.
We ask Siri and ask Google..
In time our brain will shrink.

We no longer have recall..
Or make decisions alone.
Constantly looking at that screen..
Being controlled by a mobile phone....

is it where light escapes through
    a distant window

or well beyond to heaven's door

a space so vast...it has no end
         beyond the wild and blue
and perhaps more

a destination with unspecific goals

I don't know - but have been told
a finger points where yonder
              goes

"My father once asked me if I knew where yonder was, I said I thought yonder was another word for there. He smiled and said, no, yonder is between here and there" - Siri Hustvedt...
