REMOVING SHOES!
-Dharga Nagar Safa
Monsoon rain pouring,
Roads flooded,
School children removing their shoes!
Betty was not very tall
Her shoes seem to be small
She walked with a limp
Mistaken for a gimp
Or an excess of alcohol
the soles are gone
the back is tore
hard to walk on
run over
my feets in a clover
this is bad news
I NEED
NEW PARE OF SHOES
time to win
make friends
its not a sin
to smile
its travel for miles
you can play the blues
relaxs

your feet
makes me weak
the walk the beat
the smell is hell
they make me wink
they stink
put back where they belong

They're long enough and I...
Tied them up they fit

Tattered, cracked and worn,
Shoes waiting for adventure
Sing to tiny feet.

These old shoes did walk
Shabby chic shines thru the grime
Look at them they talk
They have taken me nowhere
That I did not want to go
Nike sneakers are the best
They are better than the rest
Beautiful colors
Sexy water-colors
Dressed up with fly sneakers, you have zest
Imagine if dogs wore shoes
That certainly would change our view
Needing four
On the floor
WOW! They would be so confused
two shoes
under the chair
waiting
for somewhere to go
and someone to go with
looking lonely
but only
just waiting
for the weather
to clear
Diamonds are so cheap
only the excessive greed
of man, his profit
create a shortage of such,
gullibility a joy!

Shiny black expensive leather shoes
No pumps, support pantyhose, nor previous experience
Just God, talent, pen, paper
First female president
Shoes are
the prison that protects
and they encage our feet
yet they have kind soles which
shield us from the painful outside world
