Two Shoes

two shoes
under the chair
waiting
for somewhere to go
and someone to go with

looking lonely
but only
just waiting
for the weather
to clear

I loved your poem! It brought a chuckle and a smile to my face. Reminding me of all the days we were stuck indoors from the snowstorms that seemed endless here in NJ. Very simply written and straight to the point. Let's GO OUT!! The sun is finally shining!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you.
