Christmas again
Seventy-seven bloody times
Spring is far away

I wish for April
Intoxicating apple flowers
And rain softening soil...

Seventy Seven
Three score and ten
years have gone by.
Where did they go?
Where did they fly?

Old friends are fewer.
New friends are more.
Not counting.
I no longer score.

Seven years later
2 brothers are dead
Posterety has doubled
Are we getting aheqd?...

Woman Chile
Back then in the 70s'
I was a woman-chile
In hot pants, boots
And a gypsy cut. But,
When I grow up
(I'm seventy-seven)
I want to marry
Neil Young, go straight
To heaven, be
That old lady waitin'
For his knock
On the door. O
Baby, can I have
Some more....

today’s sunrise was prettier than all of the others
and I have seen almost thirty-six thousand of them
I know because I calculated how many days I have been alive
thirty-five thousand, nine hundred and seventy-seven sunrises
Wait! A second said a colleague. You watched the sun rise every day?
I am a bit sheepish now. Maybe I have seen twelve sunrises....

The Bridge
While taking a walk I came upon a bridge
It was sparkling silver just above a ridge
A small person in grey waved me her way
While crossing I stopped last time along the way
Looking around should I go or stay
Decided to go her way
As I got near saw my dear Ma surrounded by clover
I was now a step from going over
Yes, I was heading to heaven
My journey over at age seventy seven...

Bob Dylan
Robert Allen Zimmerman a gifted poetical man
Known as Bob Dylan with an acoustic guitar in his hand
Married Shirley Marlin Noznisky aka Sarah Lownds
Who divorced in nineteen seventy seven on disintegration grounds

Sarah Sarah don’t ever leave me, don’t ever go
Blood on the tracks and tracks in the snow
Sad eyed couple of the Lowlands
Bob Dylan and Sarah Lownds

Field Roast Vegan Chao Slices
I want to eat
cheesy down home goodness
I want to be mozzarella vegan great
to eat the best flavors right off
a non-dairy plate

but, honest finance
has told me so
I will never know
vegan in this price range

I could stretch out my dough
I could save up multitudes of pennies
but let's face it
I will just have to
let the dream go

seventy-seven dollars
for vegan cheese
I guess sadly
vegan isn't for me...
