Djt and the Gop

A MAGA cap was among the selections
  It brought back some dark recollections

    Stormy Daniels cost DJT a few erections
      ~ Trump cost the GOP a few elections

By the Garden

A sonata of symphony’s;
          Collectivities of boundless energy.
Natural selections seeds of fun,
      So much flower sex
                                     Has gone on.

Relatively Speaking

Bless them all, I love them dearly
With all of their imperfections
They are a reflection of myself -
Ironic genetic selections

Make Up Your Mind

Choices in life are not easy to make.
Contain two or more selections.
Be aware of which selection you take.
Since sometimes there's no reversions.
Leaving a sequel of deceptions.

Gravity

In a world of hopeless escape;
Dreams of freedom fill the eye.
      And as the flickering of a flame;
      Reveals the passing of their time;
The victims of an unnamed rapture;
Must choose random selections of a living desire

Get Out of My Way

As I fly above my Genius Plain
I look at life not quite the same
I see wastes of Skin attempt again
To block my right of way!
Oh, give me Beauty imperfections,
Dissect the Heart and give me sections!
So I may dine on blood and wine,
My natural selections

Spring Selections

Wild, uncollected bouquets
Nature's artful, abundant glee
Beauteous grass-grown golden rays
Wild, uncollected bouquets
In perfumed, iris-purple haze
A kiss of green in white daisies
Wild, uncollected bouquets
Nature's artful, abundant glee.

Limited Selection

The weather got cold.  He went out on the town -
a duck bought a new jacket of down.

He made his selections.  His shopping bag full -
a sheep bought a new coat of wool.

He swiveled his head.  His eyes went down the rack -
a crow found only suits colored black.

Soprano Soloist

A distinguished soprano named Dinah
sings arias in North Carolina.
But her favourite thing,
without doubt, is to sing
selections from Handel's Messiah.

With extraordinary vigor and pith
she sings "I Know My Redeemer Liveth".
When she goes to perform
she'll be in fine form
and precisely know how to giveth.

Democrat

I used to be a republican but now I'm a democrat.
I used to be a republican but George Bush changed that.
When it comes to voting in elections,
Republicans will no longer be my selections.
I became a democrat after seeing the shape this country is in.
I used to vote for republicans but I won't vote that way again.

An Ernest Attempt

(Poetry Form: Divine - not included in list of selections)

The clock stood still in shock, refused to chime;
an old alarm designed to warn,
as sneak thief scrambled through
the window frame.

He thought he'd planned a perfect flawless crime;
they caught him in the early morn
when armored men in blue,
the coppers, came.

Blue Cheese and Old Pickles

blue cheese, old pickles
golden girls fickle
like falling nickles
drop, spin, switching sides
heads and tails collide
craving connections
tangy affections
gourmet selections

these eyes fixed you right
put you in starlight
adjusting my sight
altering flavors
new bees to savor
selfishness favors
blue cheeses denied
cornbread and grits, Hi!

The Wind Talkers

Whispering wind through the willows
Faint echoes carried upon billows
By the wind talkers summoning the sincere
That delve into darkness without fear
Each one being called by name
To embrace the warmth of the light bearer’s flame
Calling from a focal point of the four directions
Inviting the mighty elm’s personal selections
To the place where past, present, and future meet
To join the minions of Hecate’s elite

The Abc Store

Both tourists and islanders shop at this store. It sells souvenirs, cold drinks, and much more. Find them on many streets in Honolulu. Leave the city, and they're all over Oahu. Explore these stores on the Big Island too. Go to their shops on Maui and Kauai. They even have places on Molokai. Their selections and bargains are worth a look-see. These Hawaiian convenience stores are called ABC.

Cry Tools

When crisis brings pain,
Everyone cries for spoonfuls.
Tears, complains and demands,
Expressions have only cry tools.

Everyone needs knowledge,
And experience by the lessons,
When they have selections,
And crying to keep handfuls.

A person understands a living,
When he dislikes fools,
When he likes to live on his own,
He hates all nasty creels.

Everyone has his meaning,
When they have cupfuls,
No tears, no complaints,
When they have basinfuls.

Limited

Decisions are much easier
When choices that you face
Are limited enough that you
Find one you can embrace.

For when so many options
Are presented, you might find
It all so overwhelming that
You’re really in a bind.

You weigh the pros and cons of each
And then you might get stuck
Or possibly be tempted
(If you can) to pass the buck.

I like when my selections
Narrow down to A or B,
Which makes making a decision
Much less filled with stress for me.

Horns of Dilemma

C-hoose between the two,
E-ach one is undesirable;
C-orrect decision making
I-s difficult to your soul.
L-ook at the horns of dilemma,
L-et your choice serve you right;
E-arly twenty-fourth of July, ask for the guiding light.

A-t the horns of dilemma,
R-emain gazing with careful eyes;
Q-uesting for the truth,
U-ntil it comes from the skies.
I-n spite of equal selections,
L-et them give an idea;
L-et your mind decide
O-n the horns of dilemma.

Our Options

We each of us make choices –
Where to live and what to wear,
The type of work we’ll do
And just how much of life we’ll share.

A thousand small decisions
Factor in to who we are,
Determining how close we’ll get
To goals (or else how far).

Our options float before us
Every day that we’re alive.
We pick them or ignore them
So we wither or we thrive.

Though some of us are lucky
With alternatives galore,
We all make our selections
‘Til we cannot anymore.

Sign of a Goddess

My jaw dropped and my eyes ventured perfection
Nomadically discovering forbidden curves and a taste-worthy complexion
Heels highlighting slenderized yet voluptuous thighs
A gentle profoundness defined within the iris of her eyes
This truly would be a Greek tragedy if I let this goddess get away
Thoughts play hopscotch with varied selections of what to say
By chance her eyes took an interesting glance
A sign!!!
It’s safe to say she’s gonna be mine
All I needed was a sign

Dine Like Kings

Dine like kings of yore
Savor the relish meant
For lips and hips
As selections indict the mind
Towards crimes we all can
Afford and appreciate
Thwart the slab who conjures joy
In its sublime, mere presence
Make it your own to meet needs
Which wiggle beyond your reach
Settle in with family
Who seize nourishment
Some of yours
Some of theirs
Sum is fine
And in unison or arbitration
We all give way
To the voracious id
We've all been taught
And meant to be.
