Ebenezeer Scrooge

Ebenezeer Scrooge
Suspected subterfuge,
And his transformation seems extreme
For what was probably just a nightmarish dream!

Premium Member Kudos to Cratchit

There Bob Cratchit stood,
being so steady and good,
but the one they always mention,
who got all the attention,
as of course he would,
was Scrooge, so misunderstood.

The plot of his every book so interestingly thickens!

Premium Member Christmas Tardy

Here comes the annual Christmas party
I think I'll show up late -- three hours tardy
The punch will be gone, how sad
I'll miss all the fun, too bad
Some think I'm Scrooge, others call me Marley

John Milton's Paradise

I once had a boss called Milton,
Who thought his shop was the Hilton,
He sold ancient clothes,
All full of big holes,
And always put an old kilt on.

John Milton was Scrooge – truly the tightest person I’ve ever known!

Cell Phone

There once was a girl from San Angelo

who used a cell phone for friends she did know.

She’d ring a tune, talk till they had to go.

Her bill was huge

Dad became scrooge

Phone now sits in his locked drawer just so.
