Christmas Tardy

Here comes the annual Christmas party
I think I'll show up late -- three hours tardy
The punch will be gone, how sad
I'll miss all the fun, too bad
Some think I'm Scrooge, others call me Marley

Save room for a laugh a day, Hilda -- keeps the blues away.

Why bother at all? Stay home and visit with the ghost of Xmas past. Take care, Marley.

I would stay home, but ghosts are afraid of me.
