Ebeneezer Scrooge
   Met the third ghost, dark and huge.
      Scrooge’s nephew invited him to dinner,
         But miser remembered his tomb and got thinner.

A fun one. I did scrooge too but didn't post it yet. Huge is pretty much the only rhyme for scrooge. Haha. At least I use it a different way!!

I love this short and very creative "Ebeneezer Scrooge" write with a great picture. "Good Luck" I did "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer." Have a Very Blessed Christmas and New Year 2026..........

Oh, Victor - thank you for a good, hearty laugh. That's better than a dose of anything over the counter. I let Kyle pick the character for 'our' clerihew and he decided on The Grinch. We had a good time creating together, mostly all lines are based on Kyle's idea. Take care, dear one - hugs
