Emotional Free Throw Line
emotional free throw
three chances
to hit the target
to gain points
on the emotional
scoreboard
was not able to
make shots
fell short every
time
lost the match
of wills due to
inadequate
inaccuracy...

Baseball
A ritual which marks
    the days
of our democracy
    Sun shining
thousands of
fans cheering
The sight of a green ballfield delights the senses!
The scoreboard shows who's winning and who
is going down to defeat
     PLAY BALL!...

Meeting Driverside
hold the razor
blade sideways
scrape up and slide
our kind size
straight line marked
like a scoreboard
winner won cards in
routing really
some may stand
up and ready
veined blue blood
circulation it's ok
to say
goodbye and
wait again
'til next time...

Tame the Lady
Tame the Lady Society.
Make her hand out moments of goodness for Heaven's scoreboard.
She gives a chance for all to see their shining moments come to pass.
When looking to a distant shore her real love can never be ignored.

Premium Member Saturday Afternoon
Watching the cricket.
The oval looks great
Home team in green shirts
Visitors in blue
Scoreboard looming large

Sitting to long
Butt getting sore
Bench is to hard
Heading for home

Kitchen noise
Crash and bang
Pots clatter

Cooking
Goulash

Doubted Than Shouted and Pouted
when we had doubted
many bad names were shouted
perturb and pouted

for words complete loss
that created much chaos
in bed turn and toss

rather repugnant
as well as being pungent
must be confidant

should see game scoreboard
see looked forward and toward
won when most points scored...

Football At Dawn
Footballl is a sport of team,
Outstanding players are used as the seam,
Outside and inside defense,
Take cover making each play to make sense.
Beastly flow for the scoreboard is on,
All the people in the stands cheer at dawn.
Left and right to the end zone they fight,
Leave the game with a winner in sight....

A nother DAY in the life of the players
M onotonous tricks of the trade practiced everyday

Surreal and Daft
A strange collage of images dance on a poster board,
  layout of pictographs, stories that move and shout discord;
some sway left, some stand still, some sway alt right
while tweet and twitter ping on the scoreboard lights.

Wonder what's going on in old DC
 with democratic and republicans on knees;
today they say this, tomorrow who knows
will the emperor take off his clothes?...

Riding Through the Glen
RIDING THROUGH THE GLEN

The friend of the poor, Robin Hood,
Robbed every rich man that he could.
Although breaking the law,
It was something he saw
As a process morally good.

The Sheriff of Nottingham’s men,
Chased the outlaw time and again.
But their efforts all failed;
Robin always prevailed.
The scoreboard read “ten out of ten”
