Everybody breaks
He found comfort in that, but
I had other plans.

"Yes I'm crazy but you ain't"

Premium Member The Sane and the Sensible

When a storm is passing through
What do the sane and the sensible do
They hunker down until the crisis is past
Safe, not sorry ~ as long as it lasts

Stay Sane Being Safe and Secure

Stay Sane Being Safe and Secure

Must remain safe, sane and secure,
So that politics are able to endure;
Much strain;
Real pain;
Discover cause coming up with cure.

Young Edward Snowden

Made a mad dash trip to seek asylum

Russians may have thought him lazy

with decisions rash, but never crazy !

Premium Member Gullible vs Sane

the gullible are too many, the sane too few ~ what will voters do

barbs being thrown, tit for tat, red states, blue states ~ I've had enough of that

tired of all the political rants ~ they bite each other like red ants

Jose In the Snow

Jose's in the snow
Oh don't you know
He shovels it out
But it still comes back down
So he builds snow angels
To stave off the danger
To keep himself sane
And get through the game!

When Delusion Keeps Sane

I keep seeing the railway tracks in the left hemisphere of my brain

The logical sides solution to end all this pain

Application put to practice sees the creative hemisphere strain

A horrible ride cycle when delusion keeps sane

In Sane

it's mad to think sanity is insane on the inside,
those whom go in-sane go too mad to tell us why,
so if you go in-sane, you will go insane,
a bonkers wordplay write which itches inside your sane brain
it's itching because it's in-sane

SANE

Set your soul free with profound know,
Ask to just see that precious flow;
Now let cheer be the way of health,
Etch sense clearly as affluence shows.

Safe, Sane and Secure For Sure To Endure

Safe, Sane and Secure for Sure To Endure

What I know is when you are safe and secure;
We are certain that you  will be sane for sure;
God cure has been,
Maker of women and men;
Even said, with me anything, you can endure.

I guess I once was a juvenile delinquent. Then I became an adult delinquent. Now I'm a middle age delinquent. Soon enough I'll be a senior citizen delinquent. When all is said and done and it is all over I'll just become a dead delinquent. Ha Ha.

Premium Member a sane 2-4-2 mixed flow

today,
thinking time
   flowing…
  no peace,
children dying
    in war…
    victims,
all those dying
    in vain…
   iced war,
cold melting life
     flowing…
    love left,
the war took her
      away…
      justice
looking…but not
       seeing…

Be Sane

Be Sane

Insane?
The pain.
The rain.
The stain.
Remain.

Forgive.
Let live
No sieve.
Just give
Re-live.

Insane
Disdain.
Complain.
Refrain.
Maintain.

Forlorn
Will morn.
New born.
No horn
Reborn

Insane?
Fast lane.
Regain.
Sustain
Be sane.

Sane and Sanity Mad and Humanity

I'm mad
i'm mad as i could be
i'm insane and quite unlikely to suceede
i'm mad
i'm unforgettable
odd and more normal than you
i'm mad
not angry no
i'm quite tranquil
I'm mad
but im more sane than the average man
because how can you be mad
withought knowing
what sane is
and figuring that being mad
is more human
more sane than sanity

Premium Member Three of us are Sane

Gram saw the comicality of the situation
She never put on airs or lived above her station
The rest of them took themselves too seriously
Enormous eye-rolling was done by Harry and me

Gram smiled at our ability to see through the bull
She thought the rest of them had far to go
They were dissecting the new neighbor’s every word
Most of our kin can be outrageous and absurd.

Small sips sound sane

Best bitters; black bar beer, Brewed brown but ~ bottled blue. Drunk dirty; delays drag, During dark ~ dreadful days. Though taken through tough times, Thoughts turn to ~ tingling taste. Confusing consciousness, Clear conscience ~ clouded case. Still sip slow, sounds so sane, Same songs sung ~ safety strong. Brains behave beautifully Breeding bright ~ better behaviors.

As you say

You owe no one no detail
The deeds you did were your tale
Oh! The lovely long rain showers
Whose outcome is today’s flowers
Colour of it not so white nor red
Signifies whatsoever you fed
Holy was all that you said
The rich attention that you paid
Made them all wise and sane
But it’s they who chose the lane
Mighty is the bread
Right is for what I prayed
No longer I need a shade
The price I have already paid

Sane Departure

How age slips away
from your hands ?
How deep you will
go in the cavernous
mind of time ?

Why brother,
why, the healing started
to hurt you and you
did not want to
stitch the name ?

No tattoo will tell your
address. You want to
go anonymously, leaving
the moon behind
the brown hills.

The shadows are-
lengthening. Time was up.
Lay down your arms
and walk away with
empty hands.

In Order To Be Sane

A quiet call born of wind
The rustling needles sound,
A hard chair of stony set
Cooler than dirty ground.

A raven’s throaty call is head
And endless birdy chirps,
Beyond that silence evermore
So much better than work…

Below a shepherd’s happy bark
Faint echoes made of words,
Illusions broken instantly
By another of the world.

But frustrated I cannot be
‘case who am I to blame,
Another who will seek the wild
In order to be sane.

Premium Member I Am Sane 'V' Tribute

They think they have defeated me
Holding Sean as a trump card,
No matter what, he will be free,
Wherever he goes I will be his guard;

I am going to trade myself for him,
This is the pivotal first move;
To get him far away from them,
then everything will improve

There is nothing that I can't handle
Except to see my son in pain
I am willing to take this gamble
As long as he is safe, I am sane.

Seek sensuous start
Align apt art
Note nimble now
Etch end endow

Speak softly still
Art aims appeal
Notice news nice
Explore entice

Sow special space
Answer ablaze
Nurture next note
Endings emote

Sell sober signs
Aplomb aligns
Nagging nature
End exposure

Sort signal stray
Appeal aims aye
Noose never nice
End enterprise

Stupor seems still
Anchor anvil
Now noisy news
Engage enthuse
