The dual to shine in the game of cricket

Sweat rushed to be alone at the wicket!

tossing them out of an Oatmeal box

Premium Member Salival

She found salvation in the stimulation of salivation,
As the solution of her saliva was so simple,
Soothing her seared throat evenly against the savory smoke.

Puppet

Scrapped myself across
obsidian finger tipped
tree tops
as the blistered red yawn
drags upon saliva skies
skin and bone
hanging empty doll
prone to be alone

Pavlovian

When Pavlov was ringing a bell,
Some saliva his dogs would expel.
   And just like that drool
I’m a Words with Friends fool,
For its music makes me want to spell.

The Jollof

I run to eat the Jollof in the plate
When the love songs made me late
This aromatic food well garnished
Never made my saliva varnished
My joy is ceaseless with this plate

Premium Member When They Plot Your Death

When they plot your death
escape is futile
so just go along
but get their DNA
and leave saliva
and fingernails
and maybe blood
in the perp’s car
maybe you can save their next victim

The Teeth

It's white as snow,
shaped like a corn,
and sharp every time.

It's hard as a bone,
shaped like a hole,
and sometimes decay.

It's protected by mouth,
saliva and the tongue,
up and down.

Premium Member An Acquired Taste

The odor of spoiled milk
waged a scented battle
with a too full diaper.
His pablum drool
swung on a saliva string.

"Ain't he cute!!" I asked
"He's my baby brudder."

A Short Break Sight

It's a humid night.
While I bathe in sweat,
Two string saliva
Attached to a wire fence
One is above the other
Gracefully sway by the limping breeze
See, gently downfall
Like silver crystal,
A pendulum of time.

Sweet Better Finesse

Her sweet lips cross my bitter soul in such a great finesse.
a finesse that could only be explained by bitter saliva secreted
from the sweetest tongue. Sweeter than a mirriors finesse as it shows
Bitter's reflectiion.

Premium Member Sense Of Taste

An explosion of flavour
Setting the taste buds alight
A tsunami of saliva
Dampening heat in the cave.
Like the sand beds of the sea,
Deeper elements spring forth
Revealing ingredients
Enriching the savoury dish.

Left Carolina With An Angina

Left Carolina with an Angina

Had broken our hearts when we left Carolina;
Not only that what we all had was an angina;
Arteries hardened,
When not pardoned;
Is hereditarily declared in genes in our saliva.

Once our Senorita from Sevilla
Climbed ladder to pluck tree guava
Gathered under a crowd
Gaping under her shroud
So she squeezed juice to stop saliva.

The Rose

I would turn myself inside out,
And drain the stem of the rose.
Watching the droplets burn your lips,
And form a flower upon your tongue.
Everyday I would water it,
With a loving saliva.
It grows within you...
...the rose
