To keep me thin and trim, it's not working I fear
You'd think by now
I'd be slimmer than a cow
This obsession for Big Macs is really severe
the cukes were cool
while carrots saw clear
the coming assault
of asparagus spears
red peppers hot tempered
tomatoes were thrown
and the onions sat crying-
LETTUCE ALONE!*
it is what it is gang!

silky rinds explode
flesh blended with milky cream
nectar squirting juice,
add cherry toppings
toothy- fruit
binge!

crispy salad greens
topped with fresh red tomatoes
a colorful feast
slivers of carrots
taste buds are quick to waken
whispers of blue cheese
add some radishes
and strips of shaved honey ham
a marvelous lunch
I'm a salad aficionado, expert at making my own
